My best recollection of Barry Dennis, was at Windsor at an evening meeting, A horse was pulling for it's head on the way to the start( I fancied this horse) He was 7/2 like all the rest of the track bookies, I remember distinctly he looked at a his son and the I think his wife, with a knowing eye. He wiped the chalked odds of 7/2 and offered 4/1/ 9/2. A queue built up, pushing and shoving ensude. He shouted " dont worry you will all get on" There was handfulls of cash getting on, remember the thought WOW if this horse wins he is gonna get wiped Amazing memories, Of course the horse lost. I avoided the bet and learnt a million things that day.
Funny man. Old school. Loved his ‘set too’s with Big Mac back in the day when The Morning Line was a quality watch. Not like the woke bull shit it’s all about now!
You all prolly dont care but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any assistance you can give me
@Andre Demetrius I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
My grandfather did that way back ..posted his bets on horses and he cheated he made money out of it, don't know how much but he knew what he was doing ..wish I knew him I was only a kid when he passed away and he died skint ...lol
So this interview is way after his documentary back in the 90s!! We saw him go through Bottle of scotch, a steak, 2x eggs and a giant bowl of chips!!! But look at him, still sitting there like a bull 🤙🤙 now days a bit of salt and it’s a trip to the hospital 😂😂
still laugh at the day he was standing at Plumpton..in his C4 heyday...I went up to have £200 on a 11/10..he told me to piss off !! bookmaker my arse..he was full of shit
@@AnthonyWilliams-ew3wp dont care how long you have known him… l was at Plumpton with 3 others and he did refuse the bet FACT ! The horse was owned by the guy who had recently bought the racecourse (Peter Savil)..BD had probably got the same info as me … that he was there with guests to celebrate and have a winner !!!

An era when I fell in love with horse racing. The Morning Line played a major part.

Barry has never refused a £200 bet or a £2000 bet. Neither have I and I’m a greyhound bookmaker. I’ve known Barry for forty five years.
