Deep Blue Hot Springs Warrnambool

The Deep Blue Hot Springs Warrnambool is an open-air bathing Sanctuary featuring a myriad of geothermal rock pools, sensory caves and waterfalls to explore. The water rich in natural minerals and heat is gathered from a depth of 850mt and feeds into 13 different geothermal bathing pools. There are four caves to explore and three of which offer colour therapy . A reflection bay and a rainforest cave inspired by the nearby Otways on the Great Ocean Road with ferns and a steep rainforest shower. The aromatherapy pool with its colourful flowering border and sweet aromatic mist evokes a deep state of relaxation. The tri rockpools boast the hottest temperature’s, to increase blood circulation, alternate with a dip into one of the two cold plunge pools. Waterfalls and intricate rockwork are featured throughout the sanctuary and are complimented by native Australian flora such as the bottle trees, flowering gum, and big reds combined with other introduced lavender, star jasmine and daphne. In the evening, as the sun goes down, the atmosphere is completely transformed with illuminated pools facilitating a unique and secluded night bathing experience reserved for adults only (age 16+).
For those with a little more time, the Deep Blue also has a Day Spa offering indulgent spa treatments, indoor bath house with private bathing options, an infrared Sauna, Salt Therapy Room and a Restaurant. The adjoining hotel offers overnight accommodation with a range of ocean view rooms, partial ocean view rooms and penthouse apartments.
