Thanks for posting this. My wife and I attended this match while we were in London on our honeymoon. Great memories and what a day for Bergkamp to get his first goals for the Gunners.
95-96 was a weird season. We had the old defence, Bergkamp and Wrighty up front but the midfield was weak and lacking. Wenger solved that with Vieira, Petit and Overmars
This was the real Arsenal, players/fans who grew up with the club and who had Arsenal in their veins. We should have NEVER left Highbury. We'd have been much better off if we stayed. The Emirates has given us nothing but suffering.
Peace Dweller Very true, unfortunately because of money taking over, they did knock down Highbury and move, never to be the same team since, terrible really when you look back at these great days
90’s era of football was the best ! It was brilliant being a teenager growing up with the game as it was then, Arsenal are a great example of how good things used to be, unlike now where it’s all about money, moving stadium for profits, taking the game further away from the fans, multimillion and billionaire owners have ruined football! The core of teams had English players with added magical foreign players that we all loved watching, it’s gone too far the other way now, Arsenal giving up their classic intimidating old stadium, to move to the shitty Emirates for money, sacrificing the success of the club in the process to maximise profits for a couple of greedy owners and their mates, such is the world we now live in....
Our number 14 used to be worn by Keown. I didn't knew for all this while. 😅 Why other players worn collared jerseys, but Wright worn round neck? That Helder guy was great.
Am I the only one that noticed Ian Wright's jersey was different than the other Arsenal players? What happened there? Lastly, Bergkamp's goals were pure class.
The Deutsch Masters Dennis Berkamp Ladies & gentilmen makes me keep going.Football is the opium of pupil I including myself.Good luck Arsenal today.lol.
Arsène Wenger was the symbol of arsenals dismise. Could'nt even beat a piss poor bremen side in the final of the ec competition with his then formidable team of monaco. Never ever had a clue of tactics.
5:11 PES Iconic Moments-Dennis Bergkamp
Thanks. I've been looking for it.

Memorable JVC era. Seaman, Adams, Parlor, Wright and finally the lovely dutchman Dennis Bergkamp 😍❤
I was in the north bank upper tier, right behind Bergkamp's 2nd goal. Fantastic.

@Mark Sesum well said sir. The materialistic mainstream is destroying everything.

Whoever owns this channel, thank you. I've decided to stop watching the current crop, only watching the Wenger times.
This was before Wenger to be fair
Wenger WAS the veginning of the downfall. Remember.

That Helder guy was great.
Ian Wright didn't like the collars on the shirts so tucked them on so he could have a round neck. He also mentions it in one of his Interviews
Super Denis!

Best Arsenal home kit
Fair play to Helder in this game
Ian is so funny, in a good way :D
After all fame was never easy on any concept all I am trying to show that I can listen in order to understand.
Not gonna lie I thought glen helder was gonna be the next big thing after this game....
You're not wrong. Lad looks amazing. 👌
Great stadium so missed
Glenn Helder was some player!!
The pre-Wenger years. The football wasn't pretty but there was some grit and verve.
Bergkamp!
