  • When Isaac blessed his son Jacob, how many words did he use? And why is this important? And Jacob’s brother, Esau, is described as “ruddy”. Only one other person in the Bible is so described. Do you know who it was, and why it is important? These and other questions are discussed. So join us for a tour of some of the amazing details found in the Hebrew of this portion.

David had proved himself to be himself; a great military figure, a Biblical Casanova with numerous wives, a man with flaws who took a wife from her husband but all the time he was living his Royalty of human nature, he never forgot that he was the son of Jacob/Israel with a huge responsibility over his shoulders to be Israel’s beloved and mightiest King as a result of his Jacobian Heritage he inherited. That’s the reason why David was David.
