Bro, looking mint... congrats on the support from Redarc, bloody good to see such a great Aussie company supporting good aussie content...
Looking forward to the next installment of this build bro...
Thanks dude, definitely a massive shoutout to Redarc they are a great company!! I’d only ever promote products that I’d personally use and trust!!
Hello, if you made the lead for your solar ending in an Anderson plug, you could have a portable panel that plugs in. This could be moved to follow the sun making the setup more flexible and user friendly..
Regards
Graeme
Great suggestion Graeme. He can then stow the solar panel on the underside of the camper cover panel with some lengths of channel .
loves bloody mint mate. suggest putting the solar panel on drawer slides and mounting it underneath the roof top tent.
Looking great mate.
May I suggest considering not hard mounting your solar panel. It then gives you the flexibility to setup the trailer in the shade but run your panel out to the sunshine keeping you battery topped up and your tent and beers cool!
Keep the vids coming mate. Cheers.
Bloody bloody bloody. Friggin friggin friggin. Mint mint mint!
It's coming along nicely so far. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
I like your build, you're doing things that I have thought about doing. Thank you for the opportunity and ideas. Shout out from the top of Texas.
Turning out so mint plus your explaining of the dual battery system was very clear.
LEGENDDD yeeeeeew 🤙🏽
One day the army boys are gunna come knocking on your door and want their trailer back 🤣 she’s looking the goods mate 👍
Can't wait to see the first camp trip, it's looking good
Looking great, love the attention to detail keeping all the wiring neat and out of the way, really enjoying following your build, will be starting my own build on my uncle’s old 6x4 gardeners trailer he gave me, have got lots of ideas from your build, thanks mate for sharing, can’t wait for the next episode 👍
you should put a solar panel on drawer slides under the rooftop tent so you can just slide it out at camp, plenty of people have used this concept for under their roofracks
Great job Tom 👍 looks fantastic 😃
Absolutely loving the content bro! keen to see it out and getting used!
This thing is looking sick. Will be an awesome set up for camp.
Bloody hell this trailer is looking mint you are doing such a good job
Looks good mate, you have done amazing job making this old army trailer into a work of act 👌🏼
Loving the build, just a suggestion regarding the solar panel, have it on slides underneath your roof top tent and when you get to camp, you have it so it comes out from underneath and always permanently fitted to your trailer
Great job mate, love how easy you make it look!! 🙂
Bloody awesome mate, hurry with the next drop 😂👌
I really like this episode! Howdy from South Africa!
"Rowbie" 🤣🤣 Great vid mate.. Gave me heaps of inspo to try this in my back tray!! Got ya self another sub there champ! Well done 👍🏻
Can’t wait to take Wolfie on his first trip 🏕
Lovin the trailer brother can’t wait to see it on the tracks 🤟🏽
Once again, good stuff mate.
Just watch your video and I gotta say the build you are doing is amazing keep it going 💯 can't wait till you post the final product and the test run keep up the great job

Super nice build! Motivates to get ready and start building for the camping season here in the Netherlands! Up to the Pyrenees!

Whatta treat, lookin mint!
Coming along nicely bro
Looks freekin awesome buddy , coming along nicely , well done :)
You deserve more sponsors. Great work Redarc and Roam Lyf.
Maybe look at putting a busbar for your ground wires, it doesn't take long to run out of room
Looking sweet mate?
Absolutely love the video brother, honestly I wanna one day build a patrol like yours as the set up that you have I just love
Thanks mate! I appreciate that and look forward to seeing your build?
great vid very exciting
Love the vid, the trailer looks awesome
Thanks mate!!
So wicked mate
Well...this is the first time you've finally came up in my feed. Even tbough i am subscribed haha
That’s so weird! I hope it’s not like that for everyone! 😓
Looking good 👍🏼
Everything is just so tidy and done so well !!!! The ideas are phenomenal man ! 💪💪👌👌
Thanks mate!! I legit plan hardly anything I just wing it as I go so I’m glad it’s turning out good! Haha
Best way to do it , Killed it man 👌 looking forward to the finished product
I would add bit of metal angle bracket on the edge of the wood shelf to put the chains onto. You're going to be upset when one of those screws pulls out of the edge when you've got your cooking gear setup on it.
Loving the build mate. I'm running a trip with my extended No5 late this month, then 6 weeks in Tassie may June.
This series is sick ahah I’m now on the lookout for an old army trailer ahaha
Yeww! Keen to see more of them hey!
Love it mate yewww
Shit your on the job mate, keen and excited for that first camping trip video. Top shelf work with that trailer🤙
Support coming from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Looking mint
We'll done. Love the videos and keep going.

Cheers dude!! Thanks heaps for commenting and wAtching!
No problem and love watching you
FROTHING ON THE BUILD, good work bruz 🤙🏼
Thanks Ben!
Love this channel. So glad to see you're getting sponsored now mate!
Thanks dude!! It definitely helps make the videos possible! Although I have turned down a lot of sponsorships just because I would personally never use the product but Redarc is a great Aus company so I’m proud to represent them!
@@RoamLyfe makes me happy. Whens the next update? I love your content. Like, it's rare I enjoy someone THIS much.
Love the trailer and how it's coming together mate, can I suggest a Renogy Battery monitor to keep an eye on your battery. They are pretty cheap and you've done most of the hard work by using your earth junction
Let’s go your in to the interior
Nice mate it’s coming together awesome hopefully the kings fridge holds up for you
Thanks mate!! I hope so to, 5 year warrenty so that’s good!
Great content , just found you . Sweet build
you should use magnetsto keep the table up
Love the build. Learning heaps myself. Question, will you be connecting a manager 30 near the switch panel to see input / output amps etc?
It's looking mint. That gap on the right looks like you might fit a water Jerry with a tap.
Great build mate, maybe chuck a stainless steel sheet on the table for easy cleaning 🤔
If you find any of your nuts coming loose from vibrations, grab some nyloc nuts as they won't come undone by themselves. With the solar, you could get a blanket and a decent lead to have flexibility in where you put it. Then you can park and camp in the shade but have the panel in the sun. Otherwise put a fixed/house panel on slides under the tent so you can slide it out the side when you set up. Awesome job so far, loving the trailer, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the tips mate!$
Great Sharing my friend! Lot of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker from the Lower Chitral District of Pakistan.
Thank you!!
G'day mate been absolutely loving this build, made me keen to do me own trailer, as far as solar input goes have ya thought about bolting a panel to drawer runners under the rooftop? Get to camp setup and pull it out, even get it out a few days ahead to get the fridge cold plus maybe a second anderson plugs to put a blanket on aswell if you ever needed the extra juice
Love the build man, curious to know why you have the tail gate and the hard lid open in the direction it does? Would've it be more practical for it the open the other way around for a bit of safety when using it on the side of the road.. if that makes sense
I did address this in a previous video, we would never put ourselves in a unsafe position getting something out of the tub which will only have camp chairs etc in it and we would never need them in an emergency anyway! I did it because when pulling onto a camp site I feel like it’s easier for the driver to find a spot as you can’t really see over the passenger side to much! so our “living area is on the right side of the trailer and the tent folds out to the left making it a little easier for the driver to find a flat spot to camp on! If we ever had to pull over, I’d try get off the highway onto gravel, in a situation where we cannot, there is nothing inside the tub that we will need! Cheers mate
It opens to the left, we pull over on the left, what’s the issue?
@@xRhinozzz You're more exposed to traffic coming down your right hand side when pulled over
good shit bro
looking grouse mate gonna be sick when its all done
I want to copy you with my number 5 but I cant come to grips with chopping it up I love it to much. keep up the good work loving the vids
One day, I'll be down there to check that minty bastard out! Cheers, congrats on the big time sponsor! I know with your talent and attitude redarc would be honored to have you on board and push you their best products someday soon brother! Keep the badass content coming 👌🏻 fuckkkkking mint.
love the vids man.
Don't you think the vent is going to let in a lot of dust?
keep up the good work!
Looking great man! Only thing is might wanna put some sort of filter over your Ben as it’s probably gonna let a lot of dust in being on the front of the trailer too.
This should help me with my 12v thanks
You know you’re working with kings drawers when your hands get cut up from it 😂, builds looking good 👍🏾
Absolutely love it mate. Friggin sick. Have you ruled out just having a fold up portable solar panel that you just whip out when you set up camp and have it plug in to the red arc system with another Anderson plug? And on that how bloody good are Anderson plugs?
Hey mate take it from me, you're going to want to sikaflex or silicone the bolts going through the floor, i had water ingress in my camper from bolts i put through the floor for my compressor, love the build videos mate, absolutely mint work 👍
Hey mate, thanks for the tip!! I have a tube of it ready to go 🤘🤘🤘
Ok. I think I would have fitted a water tank behind the fridge, & see if the 12v system would fit next to the fridge, between the wheel arch & rear door. Solar panel? Depends on your roof top tent. Looking forward to the next episode
I already own a under vehicle water tank! I just wanted to keep the heavy battery up the front on the trailer!! Solar panel is prettt hard to think about 😂🤘
Hey bro,
Love your work and great to see you kicking goals. Mate the trailer is mint makes me really keen to build mine and gives me some great ideas.
Mate the only thing I wonder about is why waste so much space in those wheel arches? Is there something you could use it for like a water tank or have you already got an idea for them?
Cheers bro
As I said love the content. Especially this trailer.
Bloody love it mate, do you reckon you could mount a solar panel to the toolbox on the drawbar.
I get so excited when you upload hahahahahahah
Thanks for watching!!
just thinking bro, with that vent what if your going through a deep water crossing and it leaks water into the tub?
Nice work buddy
Thanks legend!!
@@RoamLyfe can’t wait till you done the camper
Coming along nicely, would just love to see a lithium battery in there mate, trouble free and future proof, but doing great mate👍
Agree should have saved bit longer and bought Lithium battery as well. Recharging capablities alone is reason enough
Be less need for a solar panel, but at least the Redarc is Lithium model.
Long term reveiw on the fridge style will be good reason to follow the trailer build and usage
Clicked so fast when the notification came thru
Yeww 🤘🤘🤘
Mad build, can already seeing you needing a bigger fridge 😂
💂100 % with you on recovering everything the same stealth 1 has to look as smick inside as outside I would have put the switch panel on the opposite side and a gas hot water system where you where going to put the swtch panel 🍻 💂
all fuses need to be as close as possible to the power source, the more wire you have between your battery and fuse the more chance you have of that unprotected wire being damaged and starting a fire
Should run some pvc under the trailer to protect the wires a little more
remember when I said you should weld those top and bottom braces onto the door so they lock in for structure when the door is closed .. still watching..
well done mate ! pretty cool! so lucky to get the redarc charger $$ .
What about a solar panel that folds out of trailer lidar even stores in under there and plugs in to leads so it's movable
good video, however how do you stop att the dust from your car going into the Air vent you put on the front of the trailer?
Looks good…wire might be to thin for the distance though.
Love the build bro, just wondering why haven’t you painted the toe hitch
Hey mate how about replacing the little vent you have with a 12v fan vent?
Does the fridge hold temperature in the trailer? I put a fridge in the tub of my ranger, under the shutter but it struggled to keep stuff frozen on days over 30 degrees
Just curious, whats your trade backround. You seem quite good on the tools to have had an office job
Hey mate,
How quiet is the fridge when it's running? I'm planning on installing one under the bed base in my van but don't want to listen to it in the middle of the night while I'm trying to sleep!
Hey Mate, awesome build. I know this is an oldie, but I'm currently doing a similar set-up in the back of my ute. Did you have to mount the fridge at a different height to the drawer to level it out for the new floor to be level? I've got the drawer and fridge and looks like the fridge sits slightly higher than the drawer (with the top off). What did you use to raise the drawer and fridge up to clear the lip of the trailer?
Yep just raised the the drawer to suit it! Uses some large washers
