Love You All😘😘
Elvis had the most incredible voice. He was also a wonderful entertainer. His concerts were always sold out within hours. I think you would really love An American Trilogy sung in his 1973 Aloha from Hawaii concert …. Not the rehearsal but the actual concert, which was broadcast across the world … the very first concert to be beamed to 36 countries Live via satellite. An American Trilogy is one of the most loved of Elvis’ songs & his performance & the way he had arranged the music were totally fantastic.
And didn't he ooze sexy? Especially here in his black leathers. And when he flips his guitar around on his lap, you can feel the bottled-up energy he possesses. Nothing better than Elvis to make you feel alive.
Best reaction ever! When a grown woman suddenly becomes a teenager and loving Elvis swooning 😊
He is the G.O.A.T
The King is the King!
That beautiful smile of yours makes this song even more delightful.

As great as this concert was, there is such a sad story about Elvis and how he was used by his manager. There is a biopic coming out soon about the relationship between Elvis and his manager Tom Parker, or Colonel Tom Parker as he was known. Elvis had to give 50% of all his earning to the Colonel and was never allowed to tour overseas. The real reason for this was because Colonel Parker was an illegal immigrant and though that as Elvis's manager, he would have to tour with him and if he did, immigration at airports would find out he was in the country illegally. Short story about this concert is that a director called Steven was going to work with Elvis with this concert and he had never worked with him before. It was supposed to be a Christmas special at first. Elvis was excited to do this show but NBC did not even want to air it because they thought showing anybody in concert getting sweaty was not for tv viewing and would flop. The director, Steven, sat down with Elvis and asked him what he wanted to do, not the Colonel, but what he wanted to do. Elvis was happy that he finally got to do something he wanted and even though the Colonel tried on every corner to sidetrack the director, he did not manage to do it. Elvis and Steven ended up working well together. The Colonel promised the director that he would take care of ticket sales. The night before the concert, at the studios, the director saw the security at the gate of the studios handing out tickets and asked what he was doing. He told him the Colonel told him to hand out tickets to anybody that came through the gate and Steven knew that this was going to be a disaster. So he got all the tickets (this was the night before the show) and went about half a mile across the street to a popular burger take out place and handed tickets to everybody for free who wanted to see Elvis. Everybody sitting there were Elvis fans who got to see him for free. On the night, Elvis got really nervous and was scared he was going to forget the lyrics because this was his first concert in almost 10 years and Steven just said to him "Elvis, I've never asked you for anything for myself. Until now." And he just turned and walked away. Elvis went out for him and performed. The band did not even want to perform because of Colonel Parker but did it for Elvis. Once on stage, Elvis remembered what joy he felt being back on stage and gave the performance that is now legendary. Hope you watch the movie when it comes out.
Women scream when I sing.
As they're running out of the room, like I have a hockey mask and a knife!
