8 years driving and I quit 2 years ago. I had top pay as well. Now I fly planes and make 4x more no stress. Never looked back. Division manager said I could never do better than UPS lol. He’s still in that sweaty warehouse slaving. I’m living my best life.

Saved up for 2 years. Took all the OT I could get. If you’re gonna get in to aviation you should have at least 75k for flight training. Demand is so high you’ll have a job before you get your commercial license.

Man, I can't even remember how long I've been following you. I know it was long enough back that we were a fill in driver posting snap stories everyday and Ebony had orange BBS's because I saw her out in the parking lot at IA for the first time and geeked out. Big props bro, i'm happy for you!

Hey Black, I went to Oxnard High with you back in the day. It's great to see you growing. I just want to share that back in 2016, I did the same thing, and initially, it was tough. I almost regretted it after the second year, but I persevered and came back stronger.
Working at UPS for $46 in Atlanta is good pay. It's almost better than what most people earn here in Cali without a college degree or trade, and you know the cost of living is a bit lower out there. But hey, if you set your mind to it, things will work out. Just remember, there will be ups and downs. Stay strong through the tough times and don't doubt yourself. Don't let others doubt you either. You can achieve your vision if you stay focused! Good luck, man!

I have no idea why UA-cam suggested this video but I’m glad it did. I know exactly what you’re going through while I’m not a UPS employee I am a current Teamster who’s day to day life has been sucked into the matrix of working so much because that money is so good yet it did more mental and emotional damage to me. The statement you made towards the end is exactly how I feel sometimes but folks like you give me hope that my outside ventures will allow me to one day make a video saying f this job. Salute to you and you have a new subscriber 💪🏾

Drove in eastern iowa for 6 years. After 2021, this company changed. No HR. 3rd party hiring. Profit sharing for management. Everything for the shareholder, instead of the customer. Routes changing, lay-offs, contract violations, strike threat, and retaliation... I was having nightmares. I'd just jump into the truck and start delivering. And the back would never empty, and management would just say you have to get it all done. I missed out on years. I lost friends, and my family became distant. All for what... for a 401k that lost money. I bought some sprinter vans, started an LLC, logged into the local freight boards and moved on. 2/8/24 was my last day. Now I've been to 20 states, making less money overall. Gotta pay for my own insurance 😂 but I'll take it

This is true with any job. I’ve only had 3 jobs and I’m 38. For me after 7-10 years something about doing the same thing I think the human mind suffers and starts finding reasons to quit and find something else. Sometimes the change is needed for one’s mental and physical health and there is nothing wrong with that. I don’t like when people try to Dog a place that supported them for a long period of time though. If you work for anyone else there are always going to be cons to that job. There isn’t one company in the world in business where there main goal is to make their employees as happy as they can and pay them the most money, that’s just not the way it works. Keeping a positive mindset and always being the best person you can be for yourself and your family should always be our main goal

You said you were quitting when I came over for the Christmas party. Glad you followed through. I just quit my calibration job. We're finally traveling. I started uploading videos for a little bit but it's go time now. In one year I'm going to have more watch hours than you (a little healthy competition)
Looking forward to the future dude!

I was a delivery driver for Budweiser for 4 years I had to leave for the same reasons. People don’t understand how taxing that shit is. Happy for you brother!

Definitely happy for you man. Im right there with you, I work 12 hrs overnight at a hospital and this shits for the birds. I don't make nearly as much as you did and I've been wanting to walk away, I do patient care assistant and I make only $15.46 an hr. We deal with twice as much work as any nurse but get paid half of what they do. Nurses make from $22 an hr up to $48 only to deal with 2 to 5 people any night and all they really do is pass out medication and change IV's. We deal with 12-24 a night and do everything else we're supposed to do on top of what they feel isn't a nurses job. Health care since the "cough heard around the world" has become a joke and it's full of lazy people who want a check. They're not here to care for people, at some point like you said it not even about the money it's about the happiness and there's none here. I'm a father of twin boys and I hardly get time with them because when I'm going to sleep they're waking up, when I'm up the whole family is going to sleep or already passed out. I can't really be an active father or man to my girl because they're on one schedule and I'm on another. If I change up my sleep schedule it takes me about 2 or 3 weeks to get back in track with it and in that time I'm an angry person because of lack of sleep. 13 and a half hrs each day are dedicated to getting ready for work going to and from work and actual work, 6 hrs for sleep, leaving me with about 5 hrs a day for family and me time. Im giving way to much of my time up to a job and not enough to my family who I do the damn job for. I dream of the day I can give everyone the middle finger and leave or put in all my pto and never come back
