to be fair, that resident evil 7 healing is because Ethan Winters isn't human anymore, he's basically the same thing he's been killing throughout the game and the Baker family. He honestly doesn't even need the liquid he pours on his wounds, he just thinks he does because he doesn't know he's already technically dead. Hence why he can lose an arm and just stick it right back on and have it connect on it's own. That game and resident evil 8 fascinated me with Ethan, because you could physically watch his visible wounds heal up on their own. it's slow though.
Also because the RE Universe have the Green Herb (the healing chem is made from it) that isnt just a game mechanic, but also a very important world building element (this is also why it is so wide spread thru the entire world, because people plant it everywhere because of how useful it is)
@@TheMexRAGE Correction The herb is NATIVE to ARKLAY MOUNTAIN, so its not spread all over the world. Why they can go spreaded and end up in isolated place like in Europe is still a question. @@MA_690 that's an easy one, it's a different herb, leaves and stem structure are way different from Arklay herbs. In 7 at least, which is in Louisiana. resident evil 8 doesn't have any herbs and the liquid he douses on his wounds is only a disinfectant and not actually a healing agent. What its wiki says it does is just Ethan's body doing it on its own. Even the bottle just says Disinfectant lol
Ethan Winters from Resident Evil 7 and 8 too. He technically doesn't need the health bottle either, just thinks he does. I'd always wondered how he could reattach limbs and then use them like nothing happened. and then 8 came along. and not only did he get his arm severed, when he reattached it his coat sleeve connected again as well. There's a part where he's hung by hooks through his hands and he has to rip one through his hand from the center of his palm to between his middle and ring fingers and over the course of 10 or 20 minutes, you can watch it slowly close up and heal until it's gone. wild shit
The adamantium in Wolverine's body isn't what lets him heal....he was born with his healing ability and had bone claws originally. The adamantium was added later and made him basically invulnerable.
“The adamantiun made him invulnerable” Tell that to Deadpool and Wolverine (yes that adamantium skeleton at the beginning of the movie was Wolverine’s)
@EEMMOsGaming that's because the adamantium was poisoning him weakening his healing factor which allowed x-24 (clone of logan) to impale him on a tree and kill him
With Resident Evil 7 and 8 **SPOILERS** you're not a human but a sentient mold with human memories. That's why you can heal those extreme injuries by just splashing some liquid.
when you see his health status in the same menus you'd usually see them in other games, ethan's health also looks to have something a little extra in it... an obvious clue to his permanent status
Yeah they mixed the games up. They showed Dying Light for Singularity, and Singularity for Dying Light. After around 600-700 hours in the first game and 200 in the second, I can comfortably say there is no animation for a pill bottle in either game. In fact, there isn't any healing animation in Dying Light 1 or 2 that isn't a bandage or auto-injector. You either wrap your arm with a medical kit in both, or in 2 there's an auto-injector syringe for the military medical kit animation. No pill bottles.

The bit with the shark just biting the guy and then leaving is actually very real. Sometimes when a shark encounters a large animal like a human they'll take a small nip at it to see how tough it is and to warn them to get out of its territory. They don't usually clamp down on people and actively try to kill them unless they're starving.
The way the magical liquid walks in resident evil is you all made out of mold it is keeping you alive and the liquid healing the mold in doing so healing you
the liquid actually isn't doing anything, it's more like a placebo since his body is no longer human (and quite possibly not even the original body anymore, corpse could still be at the Baker's house) Ethan just thinks he needs it because he doesn't know he's not human. the liquid is nothing more than disinfectant anyway.
You got to love how the healing animations have the same crazy speed and snappiness to them like the reload animations. Got something stuck in your hand? Just rip it out as violently as humanly possible, what could possibly happen? Your bones are broken? Just yank the limb back into position, I'm sure the pieces will perfectly fit back into place and stay there. You got 5 seconds. I've practiced martial arts all my life and I've dislocated all my fingers except for my right pinky. After practicing for 3hrs straight, I thought I sprained my ankle so I stopped to inspect it. "Hey, that doesn't look like it goes there" so I start inspect it and, accidentally, slipped it back into place. I did have to go to the ER afterwards as a safety precaution to ensure there wasn't any lasting damage.
I burnt the ever-loving shit out of my thumb while making spaghetti - three days later the pad of my thumb is still sensitive. I had no idea how scary it would be, haha! And apparently, I didnt even get myself that bad! Cant imagine how agonizing *actual* burns are...
