I bought toyota highlander used so I don't know if the hybrid battery was replaced or still on original one? The starter battery replaced recently Even than that no issues at all
@@michaelkim3641 thank you Michael. I was mainly referring to main hybrid battery. I did not know if after several years of ownership if you had to replace main hybrid batter, and if you did what was the cost. Thanks again, Joe
Hi. I test drove the exact same model yesterday. My question is when you're braking, you do hear a high pitched sound/dinging/buzzing. That's natural for a hybrid, correct?
Hi friend, when braking not supposed to hear any sound, my hybrid doesn't make any sound when braking If any sound that means something not correct or something need to be repaired or replaced, Usually brake bads makes sound If they reached end of life you can also see them how thick are they? If there are very shiny brake pads need to to be replaced But if the brake pads are in good condition The other reasons for sounds could be the following 1- routers are worned out or bad 2- shacks problem 3- front control arms or suspensions 4- tie rods I hope this helpful and all the best 👍 Please let me know if you need any more information
I have 2009 same car, 147500 ml. still brand new driving condition.
Of course really great toyota highlander
Michael, what issues have you had with battery/replacement after 11+ years?
