I don't think Azcuy was at full strength during that match. Injury, sick, etc??? You can see how slowly he returns to his feet after the first take down.
What’s was Azcuy deal he was hurt and or tired in the first ten seconds lol. He absolutely looked aside from the one big flurry that he was just going through the motions. Which is actually pretty impressive cuz he tied it up going half speed the majority of it then cashed in bad!
I cannot believe he was an Olympic medalist ranked 3red in the world! He showed no heart, was exhibiting his brokenness all over the place. That was like JV behavior
I mean the guy from Cuba was like 34 or 35 when this happened and was 3 years after his last Olympics, so he might have been great but is now just old.
It’s incredible how he put on that weight and managed it. I remember bumping up one weight class in college and finding it nearly impossible to just make the 8 pound jump. I didn’t feel that much bigger but everyone else seemed a lot bigger!
I suggested, years ago, that Taylor could move up in weight. Nearly everyone scoffed at the idea. Dake has done it as well, but is now moving back down. Both have now won world championships.

Something is wrong with Taylor's opponent...I think he is injured but trying to hide it by walking and moving around slow... probably being forced to wrestle by coaches so there would be a match for Taylor cause he is someone a lot of people want to see wrestle...if he pulled out early maybe nobody steps in to wrestle and bts will have less spectators as a result...you have sponsors to please kinda but shouldn't be a huge deal to sponsors if he really is injured...he wouldn't get paid as much because it's possible that in his sponsor deal he must be wrestling a certain amount of matches for the calendar year and/or at certain venues... this is the most likely the reason for the slow movements...it just doesn't look like someone that wants to be there.. especially someone that has the credentials that he does.. this is my opinion so I can be wrong but it appears that he is giving just venough effort to get paid or something...that's not to take away from Taylor because I am very familiar with him and I know how good he is... though I'm not as familiar with international wrestlers so he might wrestle like that always for all I know..but if I was a betting man I would say he doesn't...let the madness begin
