Prairie being crazy would just ruin the whole story but it makes sense. She needs to be real.

I watched both seasons before I realized that there won’t be a third and I’m bummed. Such a great show.

You really just painted a new perspective that all of this could be because she got off the medications. The guy that introduced me to this show does not believe in taking medications but believes there a multiple dimensional and we are in a simulation. He would not be happy to watch this cause this theory really is something to think about lol. Human thoughts are strong and the mind can do wonders.

Really dig that you brought up Blavatsky and Kabbalah. This was one of my favorite shows because it appeared to be tapping into a lot of the metaphysical concepts I really enjoy. To see someone else review/analyze it through that similar lens is pretty cool. Yeah you even reference Sophia in Gnosticism, which is another parallel. Love the comparison. Love to see other people got similar perspectives to what I was seeing.
    Thanks for sharing.
I'm curious if you practice magick?

In the script In the pilot OA asks the nurse to dial a number for florida, a man picks up and tells to stop calling here, to loose the number and ‘you don’t know what you are doing to my wife’

Another interesting fact that in the script the real name of OA is Olenka/Olena Azarov, the OA. In the script she definately comes accross as crazier.

My question would be, what body would OA have in D1? Didn't they bury her because she "died"? If no physical body, what body does she use? Or, would she even really need a body?

After I watched all of his how the show ends videos. You are right!!!! OA can't go back to D1. She is dead there. But remember on the bridge. She actually jumps. Meaning we actually don't know who she was in the D1 version before she jumps.

What if she can jump into an earlier point of D1s timeline

One thing I noticed in the first season was that the second she banged her head into the glass of her chamber, if you look in the background you can see the plants and then Homer stand up which I thought was her making up the other survivors in her head as a coping mechanism. Her getting hit in the head multiple times in the first session has to mean something. First time she hears them, they’re acting completely different than how they do for the rest of the season

I had some more thoughts about potential dimensions and it occurred to me that there's most likely a dimension that is a global utopia. The movements could have been shared and everyone learned them across the world, ending disease, potentially doubling life expectancy, ect. And then there would be a flip side to that where once the world knew about the movements, the governments of the world may have made massive machines (like the size of a football stadium) like Elodie's to do the movements on the entire world. And without fully understanding, they had them do all 5 movements and the invisible river opened and caused a majority of people on earth to die. Leading to a post apocalyptic world. The apocalypse dimension could possibly be where Elodie acquired the robotic cubes in the first place.
The giant ones Hap built were left behind in dimension 2. They may be seen as an art installation but the investigation of their dead bodies would include whatever controller Hap had to initiate them. And THAT could be how the post apocalypse world discovered and replicated them on a global scale.
Thus creating a bootstrap paradox where,
Elodie leaves them for Hap> Hap Builds the larger ones> people discover what they can do and replicate them> Elodie visits that time and gets them for the first time> Elodie gives them to Hap.
Which also ties in to the idea that the story is a loop. And double sides of if the entire world were taught the movements. One where the movements were done on a smaller scale, with living beings, and one where they were done on a global scale, by machines.

I personally dismissed the second season (except for a few scenes, such as the one with the octopus, that were creative and eerie) and all of the supernatural elements that were included. Through that particular lens, a realistic one rather, the show is a tragic tale of one of the worst fates that one could imagine having. Yet paradoxically, also surviving through, with the "help" of either mental illness and/or NDE experiences that I believe she really had, at least twice - the second occurring during her captivity, at the hands of a wannabe/mad scientist that has kidnapped and tortured her for years - and on top of that, discarded her after completely transforming her psyche into a self perceived martyr that would end their own life one way or another, for a "greater cause", enslaving her in an everlasting stockholm syndrome. Speaking of martyrs, it reminded me of that particular french movie, with a similar narrative - torturing someone to the point of some sort of mystical transformation, but I take OA to be an inner cinema - beauty in inescapable horror. Masochism, mental survivalism and ultimately self destruction being at the core of it all.
