I just startee watching the show on disney+ I grew up in the 2000s this show is new to me and i really like it. There is a new Chip and Dale movie coming to disney+ I also know Chip and Dale coz of MickeyMouseClubHouse,a classic movie with Chip and Dale, and i met Chip and Dale at my final trip to disney world in 2017
I loved that show growing up! I have the first and second seasons on DVD! I didn’t know if the third season is released yet. The video game of this show was fun to play as well.
For reasons infathomable, the 9 episodes that make up the remainder of season 2, and the 5 episodes that make up Season 3 have never been released on DVD... or VHS for that matter. I understand that the "complete" series can be seen on Disney+ or purchased on iTunes. But for those who prefer physical media (such as myself), 51 of 65 episodes is the best we can hope for. "Rescue Rangers" is my second favorite Disney Afternoon series, right behind "Gargoyles".
@@starknight103 Duck Tales was #3 in my top 5 (although it's Capcom NES game was slightly better than Rescue Rangers, if only from the music standpoint, because Transylvania and The Moon are some of the best stage themes ever). I never really consider Gummi Bears to be Disney Afternoon (even though I did really like it because of the whole medieval fantasy vibe) because it had been a Saturday morning on NBC staple for so many years before it got traded to ABC and paired up with Winnie The Pooh, and was only "re-broadcast" as part of the Disney Afternoon; which oddly enough, was not included in the syndicated block of Disney Afternoon series that I was getting to see in Mason City, Iowa. If it didn't air on the cable version of WGN; USA Network (the Cartoon Express); or on my local CBS affiliate, KIMT (because the ABC affiliate, KAAL, never aired afternoon cartoons, and "He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe" was the last afternoon cartoon that aired before Jeopardy! eventually took over the 4:30 time slot in the fall of 1985), I didn't see it. I never even saw "Thundercats", and consider how big a deal they were. But, back to Disney: Tale Spin was pretty good; wasn't all that big on The Adventures of The Little Mermaid or Aladdin; was completely confused by Bonkers!; and surprisingly, I saw very little of Darkwing Duck because it aired before I got home from school, but I hear it was pretty fun. So my top 5 would be Gargoyles, Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, Tale Spin, and only because it was a show I enjoyed even if I never actually saw it as a part of the Disney Afternoon... Gummi Bears. In a somewhat ironic twist, my top 3 go in reverse order when it comes to their video game adaptations... although that's a bit of an exaggeration because the Gargoyles game wasn't any good, though still better than Duck Tales 2 and Rescue Rangers 2 which are only spoken highly of because of their rarity, not their play value. Can't top the originals in that respect.
Well done! Being a huge fan of the show, I thought I knew everything! I didn't know the name of the character who would become Monty. Very cool! 😁 Another reason they paired Zipper with Monty is Jake the Kangaroo Rat in Rescuers Down Under had an insect buddy, and Monty was supposed to originally be a Kanagroo Rat. Now he's just a big mouse from Australia. Also, Zipper is inspired from Evanrude from the the first The Rescuers. 😁 I have a copy of Real Genius! I got it for the sole reason of the character who inspired Gadget! But I haven't watched it yet... 😅 I will have to change that!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry there wasn't really anything to link to. I contacted Tad Stones the creator of Rescue Rangers directly for the facts.
