1000xRESIST is a thrilling sci-fi adventure. 1000 years in the future, humanity is all but extinguished and a disease spread by an alien occupation keeps the survivors underground. You are Watcher. You dutifully fulfil your purpose in service of the ALLMOTHER, until the day you learn a shocking secret that changes everything.
In the near future, a mysterious alien race of giant entities arrives. We call them the Occupants.
They are not hostile, but it doesn’t matter. Their arrival is a death sentence. Humanity is wiped out in a matter of months, succumbing to a disease the Occupants have brought to our planet.
A teenage girl called Iris is the only survivor. Somehow she is not only immune but also becomes immortal.
1000 years later, Iris has birthed a new society consisting exclusively of her own clones.
She calls them Sisters. They call her the ALLMOTHER. They live safe in the Orchard, an underground bunker, whilst Iris wages war on the Occupants.
But all is not well. Your closest sister, Fixer, comes to you with a dangerous revelation. You have been lied to. The ALLMOTHER is not what she claims to be. After Fixer is executed for treason, it falls to you to discover the truth.

People seem to be really hard on indie games. This is one of my all-time favorite indie games... ever. Such a sensitive and heartfelt story covering issues of race, generational trauma, and so much more. I played this with my partner and I swear I cried so much. None of the characters are perfect and I've never seen a story that really just hammers that home. The voice direction is phenomenal, too. Every single detail makes the characters feel real. I love this game so much and I cannot overstate how glad I am to have played it
I AGREE WITH YOU!!!!
Agreed 100%
Dang is it really only available on pc and switch? I don’t have pc and I try to only play Nintendo exclusives for switch well because it’s switch😂😂 no Xbox or ps5? 😢
@@murky16 not to my knowledge. the game should run just fine on switch and is the intended platform. I’d say give it a try anyways, extremely worth it
@@fleur1514 hmm you might have just convinced me. This trailer looks really intriguing I think I will try it for switch :)
Rewatching this over and over after finishing the game just to marinate in the feelings.... augghghghghg
I just started playing due to the extremely positive word of mouth and wow, it's very much my jam. Congrats to the whole team, this game has cult classic written all over it!
That song got me in a chokehold
Coming back here after finishing the game - what an absolute gem of a narrative game. One of those games that stays in the back of your mind even days after you finished it. The writing is soo good, and it keeps things fresh and surprising throughout the whole run. Fully voice acted, and surprisingly long for an indie title.
Its sci fi but it is very intimate and personal (imagine a blend of Life is Strange 1, Nier Automata and Evangelion).
one of the best games i ever played
Jup, ez GOTY contender
How did she not hear his ass running at him with a dagger in that echoey room? 😂
This gives me lots of vibes similar to Signalis... me likey!
Glad I am not the only one lol
It was advertised by Signalis creators too! They even said "if you love Signalis you will love this game too"
yeah, it seems just as bad as signalis.
This game looks awesome!
I've been looking forward to this for awhile, glad it has a release date
What a fucking ride this game was
I am very excited to play this game on my Nintendo Switch from July 13th 2024, I hope It lives up to my Expectations.
Please release this song its SO GOOD
We did! You can download 'Fixer's Song' for free from Bandcamp: sunsetvisitor.bandcamp.com/
@@FellowTravellerThanks a lot it's so beautiful!
Such a gprgeous song. Thank you so much, gonna play the hell out of this game!!! @@FellowTraveller
idk what's going on, but I'm very interested
That's just mean the trailer is that good.
@@calendar6526 agreed!
The song is great
What you get when you mix Life Is Strange with Nier:Automata
Honestly that's a perfect description of the game so far.
That trailer looked a lot more Megami Tensei to me than either of those.
Fucking couldn't agree more.
@@neko_samuraiAnimation wise yes I agree with you.
when you mix trash with good stuff you unfortunately get trash, yes.
Didn't expect the monogatari frames inspired on this one. Looks very interesting.
The trailer is one of the best Trailers ever for a game imo.
your taste is really bad
I can't wait for its release.
really like the monogatari aesthetic u guys were going for ;looks cool cant wait for the game
This game hurt me. It was great.
talk about kicking the door with a mindblowing debut. congrats to the team
Man I cannot damn wait.
The opening scene looks JUST like one of the endings in Drakengard 3.
Please add this song to Spotify
FYI you can download it for free from Bandcamp.

No idea WTF is happening, but, that trailer sure caught my eyes and were it not for the lame choice of console to release on, I'd definitely get it! 😮
Hekki Grace, sister 🫡
I need a little more action in my games........is there any combat in this game, or do you just throw that cube at people?
It's all narrative and very light puzzles. Definitely no combat but what I've been playing so far but PLEASE give it the benefit of the doubt. I'm far from finished but it's genuinely the most emotionally affecting thing i have played in years.
@@JoostusI have to 2nd this. Game has been ripping me to shreds emotionally. I'm so compelled by the story but I have to stop each chapter because it's all so powerful. Anything that makes me feel this much is good art.
this has some really good art style that reminds me of “RWBY” n the music matches well with the sad story that has me enveloped in the game now
Serious Nier vibes! I'm in!
Name of the music?
It's called Fixer's Song. It's available on Bandcamp. sunsetvisitor.bandcamp.com/album/1000xresist-fixers-song
See Shaft studio screen flickering.
Say no more, Steam it is.
Signalis X Nier :automata
"Watcher"? "Allmother"? Are the devs Horizon fans or something?
I started the game and so far it feels … pretentious. I hope I’ll different about it the farther I get into it.
Yeah, I checked out their website… and their little statement does not inspire any hope. I’m still giving the game a chance, though.
@@vladik87 you shouldn't, refund it while you can. or at least pirate it. it is pure slop.
Mom can we get Stellar Blade?
We have Stellar Blade at home.
Stellar Blade at home:
post modern cringe YIIK all over again
Which part is speficaly like YIIK? Especialy since barely any words are said in the trailer lol.
@bearofthewest389 having played the demo the only things similar to Yiik is the surrealism and the mannerisms of the watcher. But it makes sense in context.
It more reminds me of a game about Accord and 9S from the yoko taro games uncovering the trutch in a far future dystopia like in Xenosaga and Astral Chain
And the one anime Fractale
