20B ROTARY ACTION! 20B DATSUN 1200 & 20B MAZDA RX3 - TNT 28/12/2013

On the final Test and tune at Willowbank Raceway for the year, Brad Mcilroy was out testing his Mazfix prepped 20b Datsun 1200 ute as well as Russ in his 20B powered Mazda Rx3. The PRODAT was testing some changes in the rear end, keeping the newly added 10.5 inch tyres as well as some changes to the 4 link, and after a few tweaks had the car complete a full pass of 7.95 @ 165 mph with a small back off down the deep end, a little slower then what the car has run but a little more stable down the track. The Mazda Rx3 had some issues most of the night but managed to get it down the track for an 8 second pass, also off its best, but once sorted should be back down to where it was running before.

The Rx3 had electrical issues with fuses popping out!! Hence why it was cutting out on launch... & yes the car has run 7.91@176mph with Russell driving.

Whoever was driving the RX3 should just give Kellogg's a call regarding his drag licence, learn to spool up properly & launch! That one run where he kept dumping it and bogging it was just painful to watch.

@@reubenmorris487 Kid, I drove rotors long before you were even swimming in your Dad's nutsack. I had an RX3 with a 13B PP as a teenager and they are the ultimate description of peakyness when it comes to driving it. Absolutely nothing under 5000rpm and revved to 9500rpm all day.
