How to get over your Fear Of Street Photography

Join Lukasz Palka from @EYExplore as he gives a few pointers on how to overcome your fear of Street Photography. He explains that it is not necessarily something that comes naturally to everyone, but with practice and using a few techniques put him well on the path to becoming second nature.
He then takes a short walk through Yanaka Ginza to demonstrate how he would approach different situations.

To get over your fear ? the best tip here: be a white person in Japan (white woman even better), don't be black, or Asian people in Japan/Korea. The best: go with your Japanese friend(s) otherwise you will get in big trouble when trying streetphotography. That was my experience in Japan. I am a Vietnamese. When I went out with my European friends, nothing happens, people smiled and even tried talking to us, but when I did alone or with my Asian friends, problems appeared, even some of them called police.

We shot this video back in summer, which was before the GR3x was announced. But since then I've shot with a bunch and I quite love it! We have some videos on the way with the 40mm GR. :)

But all photos will be of masked people, like they have no face, within Japan? That would be my fear -- fear of masks.

True im glad people in my country dont really wear a lot of masks outdoors it just makes street photography otherwise very dull
