I bought a GRIII from the Ricoh website this year because of these videos with Lucasz. The Asakusa video sold me 100% on the quality and versatility of the GR line, so now I'm finally part of the club. The intelligent shooting modes like snap distance priority and one-touch auto exposure in M mode blew my mind. It's probably the most synergy I have experienced using a camera in a long time. 🙏
Thanks for your continued support for us, viewers, learners, others; producing this video. Now, I better understand about creating layers. I’m not a street photographer, but occasionally have an, “capturing the moment.” I also have to ask, I noticed in your other videos too, you’re always have that “cross-body EDC” bag. What brand is it and any other details you’d like to share? Thanks again!!
I've never noticed an issue. It's pretty small, you can easily cover it from the rain with a hand or umbrella. And the Nisi filter system keeps dust from the lens pretty well. I haven't tried a sandstorm yet, though. 😂
Hello Lukasz, I would be very happy if you could tell me something about your camera bag. Thank you and please keep up the good work with your great videos about the GR series.
Thanks!! I saw that it was added in a recent update, and I can see how it might be useful (actually a friend of mine likes it and uses it) but I find it more intuitive to do it the normal way. Maybe it's just because I've been doing zone/snap focus for years and it just feels natural to me. :)
8:07 perfect
Lukasz very informative as always.
Thanks!! :)
Ah fantastic - great to see Lukasz out and about
:)

It really is synergistic. I always say the GR feels like and extension of the hand and eye. :)
I like how the camera operator (Axel?) is making layered compositions while Lukasz is talking about layered compositions :)
Yes!! He's a genius. :)
Gave me some great ideas for my trip to Japan. Much appreciated!
I loved the layering techniques in shooting street photography. Very informative and prectical in this genre 💙👍
Glad to hear that! :)

Informative and interesting video. I'll need to find situations to use this.

Hi Lukasz, I really like your Videos! Did you ever use the Snap Distance Priority as I want to give it a try.
