Hi! I'm sixteen, and i'm in my wheelchair 100% of the time when i'm out of the house. It definitely took some getting used to. These tips were so well thought out and presented so nicely! I'm glad someone else is thinking about looking good even from a chair. Thank you so much for this video!

Wow! I am so glad I was able to find this video. I just got my first wheel chair, I still wear leg braces but we got it so I can go out during the day in long term use. I've been having a hard time with the fact that I finally have to use a wheel chair even if its just for occasion, so this made me feel a bit better so thank you! My mom and I were wondering where you buy those wheel chair clear wheel covers? We loved the idea of that and really wanted to do the same! Thank you again so much for making this video!
Thank you soo much hun! I am really glad to know my video could help you feel a bit more comfortable about your chair! It's a tool that is there to help you do more and you should feel as fabulous in it as out of it!
As for the spoke guards I got them when I ordered my chair. What I have are just clear plastic "spoke guards" and when I ordered my chair through a medical supply store I checked off the box for the guards with the intention of decorating them. Most chair companies sell plain guards (I've seen them on the Quickie, TiLite, and Helio websites). You can also try getting them through any local store that sells wheelchairs and medical supplies. If all else fails I'm sure there are some online, or if you're having trouble, feel free to send me a message and I can give you a hand!

I would say that purses with smaller handles are probably unwise for anything important, because it's too easy for someone to snatch them off our laps and run. I love the wallet on a strap idea-- I did that out of necessity but mine is boring and you inspired me to look for cute ones. Thanks :)

As a plus size wheelchair user, I’ve found I need to adjust my clothing size to be a little more loose so it doesn’t gather in an unflattering way or bring attention to my belly.

If you don't mind, may I ask what kind of disability you have and why you are sitting in the wheelchair? Because I am preparing a presentation for school about people in wheelchairs and the illnesses that they have and "tie" them to the wheelchair.
