I don’t particularly like how the Kings of France was rearranged in this case cause it doesn’t have any of the high brass or woodwind parts that make the original so grand and royal sounding
Why do this? If a band can't play Dello Joio's original, let them play things they CAN play and work up to it As a big fan of the original piece, this thing just lays there in the wrong key flopping around looking for an exciting moment. Yeech.
I sightread this last year. Glad to have found this again
Great piece!
this is a lot different than the version I played in college.
Very Nice 👏👏👏
Very neat piece. I like the repeated rhythms that the trumpets have.
Ahaha this is so cute! Played the original earlier this year

Im not a huge fan of the rearranged children’s gallery the simple rhythms took away from the playfulness of the movement.
should have played the 3rd movement slower in my opinion.
I wonder what PewDiePie's distract (including the rap part) would sound on instrumental (made by Paul Murtha)

For me this arrangement works in a good way. Young people can play very good music with pedagogical adaption.
