- Your monthly Finnstalment of October's events behind the scenes! My October Monthly Vlog is packed full of exciting behind the scenes events this month! October began with a trip to The Open University in Milton Keynes to take part in Student Hub Live and to record behind the scenes. After only a day back home, I then returned to The OU, this time for my TEDx Open University talk rehearsal which is happening on 8th November! October was also the month where we scattered mums ashes. We chose a beautiful spot on the coast and there were some very serendipitous signs that told us we chose the right spot. Also featuring is me and the FurrFurr being big kids at Eastbourne story, showing our age at a garden centre, and hunting Zombies on Eastbourne seafront! Plus lots of me reflecting on life in general and on developing my freelance business.

Finn every time I watch your videos it helps me as so much of your life is similar to my own. I started watching your channel to better understand transgender transition on behalf of the teens in and out of my life. I have 17 and 19 year old kids and my home is the loving place for all of their friends. I have received so much more as you share your struggles and triumphs in so many ways mirror mine. You Finn help this 47 yr old mom thrive in the tough times. Thank you so much

I love that its mum glitter! That glitter is now cast to the winds and she is happily cloud and wave surfing! Thank you for being so kind, I really have come a bloody long way, life is incredible in recovery! I cant wait to share my ted talk!

I kind of feel connected to you in a strange way as I suffer with mental health issues and OU, but I am in that employment trap and struggle that no one actually understands! I had a completely weird brain time travel moment, I still think it's October, so I was watching your video, and wondering HOW you got your video out on October 2nd when it's not really the 2nd yet (it's actually November, but I had to look up the time differences between our countries... THEN I realized it's November LOL!!! WOW... 🤪 ) On with your video, you look so exhausted already, glad you got to go home at least for a bit!
On the subject of your October 2nd section, I feel for you there, I was suicidal for quite some time, and have been battling with myself about making sure that I tell myself about all the GOOD times I've had since my first thoughts about suicide. Meeting up with your friend, being sober, appreciating your time, blows my mind because I never really have had anyone in my life from knowing me before be completely happy for me. I get "I wish you should have stayed a girl" a lot, or off handed comments like that. It sounds like it was a wonderful eye-opening moment for you! 💖💯 No need to apologize for getting emotional, you're human! and an exceptional man!

Just for the fun of it, I looked up Pounds Vs. US Dollar, and I live on 156 pounds per month, I live on that per month (just curious because you were talking about donations and money to live on, and I went to wishing I had enough money to donate to you every month, or even make a one time donation to you! Someday I hope to get you something either fun, cute, or useful, but right now it's just not going to work out. If I ever win the lottery or find a big pile of money, I'll definitely share it with you being you've helped me so much since I found your channel!

22:10 Comfort food is the best thing ever! My mum used to make me "kitty pancakes" they were shaped like cat faces, sometimes even whiskers and everything, ALWAYS when I needed some comfort. They're very hard to make and come out right I found out lol! Trying to stay away from carbs as well too now though, so pancakes aren't the best thing unless it's a "mental emergency" as I call it. HUGS!!! I think you made the right choice on that day 💖👍

I have s question, The government legalized marijuana here in Canada. I tried it a few times, I didn't smoke it but ate it. Very powerful stuff. What are you thoughts? Do you think people will get addicted or is it acceptable?
I don't think there is a problem with people using or taking anything. Its all about your own experience. Some folks can have a few drinks and leave it, have the odd smoke and leave it, others, like me, get addicted and then it gets in the way of living a happy life. Its not really about the substance, its what happens to you when you use it that counts.
