Lust for the money is very demoralizing. Love is thrown out of the reputational window, and it’s fragmented.
I think it's cuz they're bored of their own lives, so they wanna steal the life of someone else. Either that, or they just grew up spoiled.

Interesting. When you blackmail someone for money through greed, it will backfire on you. Not only that, he worked out who was doing the blackmailing. But I am confused as to how his friend had purple dye or paint on his shoe(s) yet it was the same one used in the blackmail attempt.

Bob was meant to be a red herring. He was waiting for Cole for quite a while because what he needed to tell him was urgent. If he did handle the money, he would’ve taken the same amount of time as Cole did to get to the apartment. If Bob did handle the money, he wouldn’t have had paint only on his shoes. He would’ve also had it on his hands and upper body areas. If bob were painting a garage, he could simply just take Cole to said garage to prove it.

So they got the lady to inject him after enacting the fainting drama. They would (both) blackmail him for his money. Once they would get his money, they could flee the country to make a new start somewhere else.

Great video great short mystery it's really hard to figure out what's going on if you don't remember what happened but he was able to deduce things and set up a clever trap but there's a couple things I don't get if the man was innocent why did he say he got home safely even though he didn't and he got paint on his shoes how can he tell he was telling the truth about painting his garage
