Katherine is certainly fed up with it. So, while waiting for her father to introduce her to another set-up groom, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Sat at a restaurant, she offered a waiter money to pretend to be her fiance.
He had to accept as the manager insisted on pleasing Katherine as a client. But their plan would soon open a Pandora’s box.

I laid down the law and told them that if they only see me as some kind of slave, it would come at a much higher cost than money or jewels. That cost? A relationship of any kind, be it romantic or friendship. I’m not a robot or any kind of object. I’m a living, breathing soul with a mind of my own, and I will fight back if I have to. And if the same were to happen to my true friends or loved ones, I’d help them learn to do the same.

The investor's son was a good person because he did the right thing by putting the girl's father in his place.

And then later the Black character accepts responsibility by saying, "I chose to stay, so it's okay," even though he didn't stay by choice. He only stayed because he was pressured by his boss. Is there a single POC in the writers' room when writing about racism???

The best thing they could've done was to invite the waiter to have a seat with them.... As a return gift for all he did for them... Bcz here not only the dad but the daughter too simply used the waiter's skin colour to get what she wanted... So at least as a sign of gratitude she could've invited him to have dinner with her

Great video this was an interesting episode it's like a love Buster episode except Nobody ends up together that Investor's son turned out to be a good guy and she stood up to the father well done but I really don't like the manager some people would sell their integrity for lunch money
