  • Smokin’ Jo Nattawut is one of the most exciting strikers to enter the ring. He has a intense and aggressive style that has served him well through his career and kept the fans on the edge of their seats throughout his fights.
Growing up in Thailand Jo came to Muay Thai comparatively late, starting at the age of 10 and training and fighting in his free time - it wasn’t until he was 18 that he moved to Bangkok and really started dedicating himself to the sport.
He moved to the US in 2013, after a fairly successful career fighting in Thailand, and took Lion Fight by storm (albeit at late notice - at one point Jo accepted a fight against Sean Kearney with just 24 hours notice). He won the Lion Fight Super Welterweight title and defended it 5 times, as well as picking up the Middleweight strap during his time in the organisation, and a WMC world title as well.
He then made the jump to ONE Championship, fighting Giorgio Petrosyan in his debut, then going in a 4 fight win streak, including the featherweight Grand Prix quarter-finals and again fighting Petrosyan in the Grand Prix semi-finals. Despite the two losses (admittedly to the greatest kickboxer of all time) Jo has continually impressed fans with his amazing performances in the circle. This pad work highlight video shows how hard Smokin’ Jo works in the gym to perform in these great fights for all his fans!
