We were on the list & while we waited, the base price of the house was raised over $70K 😮 it was the Nevis. We did the right thing & pulled out.

Really sad, I so wanted to live there, we've been on the list since Jan. & our salesman has us on his call list. My husband doesn't want to wait anymore so we're moving into Sun City because they can build us a house by next spring
Sun City is a great place to live too!

If the building timeframe is a couple of years out, do you have to be 55 at the time of signing or when the house is complete?
I believe you must be 55 when you close on the home.
@@TheJohnWeberTeam Our son wants to buy us a home! He's 34. We'll rent from him, he won't live there. Is that acceptable or does the house have to be in our name?
@@patbrandkamp7972 What a great son!! This can be done, but the ownership has to have your name on it. It is possible to form a trust who owns the house. You will need help from a SC attorney, but it can be done. If you email me at jw@lowcountrydreamhomes.com and I will steer you to someone good.
The word "Lowcoutry" seems to me that it would be susceptible to flooding. Am I wrong? If so, what does "Lowcountry" mean in this case?
Thanks for watching!!! The Lowcountry is the coastal region that runs from Charleston south to the GA border. Some areas are at higher risk of flooding than others.
The Low Country is so termed because of its relative location to the plate ( geology platetechtonics) on which it sits, not the sea level or depth of the land.
Still doing small increases even after 25 k increases
all the builders are increasing prices.
Maybe a good reason not to get a new build. Price increased 50 k in the last few months
