I can make my wife howl with laughter taking the piss out of some stupid little thing she does, because I know her, and as I'm relaxed the timing nuances etc are all there, it's a whol different ball game doing the same in front of a massive crowd. I did the best man speech at my brothers wedding, I was shitting myself but I pre wrote what I was going to say, a nice long meandering joke relating to my brother and his wife and their jobs and suitability to each other, I got my dad and my uncle to proof read it before the wedding g and my uncle especially was laughing hard so I knew it would work, and it did, once I had delivered the initial one liner and got a decent laugh it relaxed me and the meandering joke went down a storm, but again that lasted for about 3 minutes and I was done, doing that for an entire hour with several different anecdotes or jokes and keeping the flow going would be very hard.

The first guy was the host, he need to fill the empty times bacause the so called comedian walk out, it doesnt matter if it funny or not, he does it so the audience wont do a refund
His problem was that his jokes had a decent set up but none of them really had a punchline. His delivery wasn't all that great either. The second guy started off kind of funny but dragged it on for way too long. We get it, his jokes weren't all that good, you don't need to spend 10 minutes on stage talking about how unfunny the first guy is when you're not very funny yourself.
Thats how you cure your anxiety in my opinion. Do the most horrific thing u can imagine yourself in and just do it. You realize you’re still breathing.
The other guy was even worse had good material to start with "a lame comedian getting bood" yet he just told the same joke 6 times droping the mic if he couldn't piggy back that his was probably worse
Unfortunately I have. I do stand up myself and I've seen comics bomb just as bad as this for even longer. I'm talking absolute dead silence to the point you could hear the staff loading up the dishwasher in the kitchen.
@@markminter6312 Damn... hearing dishes clang in the kitchen is brutal. I always remember an aries spears quote "when you can hear people in the crowd smacking on their chicken wings, you gotta work on your craft." Bus drivers and stand up comics are the bravest people on earth lol.
If the second guy had any respect for a fellow comedian, he would of come out being like 'it's hard in this game etc' and told funny stories of times he's been booed or lost the crowd or something. Just come back to this video, forgot I left a comment and saw it had 1.4k likes 🤣🤣🤣
@@exoskeletorus who said anything about comforting him? I'm just saying he should've done his own set and not shit-talked that dude. That was a pussy move to try to get laughs at that other guy's expense. WEAK.
It wasn't even ten seconds after he said it. He heard it out loud and thought "that's not a bad idea". This guy is clearly a hack. Just an attention whore who threw a fit when the audience put him in his place and gave him a little challenge. A real comic would try to have fun out there, power through and try to perform for the small handful of people that were actually paying attention.
They're comedians. You bomb that bad you can't expect pity. It's the hosts' job to bring back the funny so the next guy doesn't walk on stage in front of crowd of booers.
Jango Fett After watching everything again, he was at the wrong venue. He was probably at a raunchy 18+ club, didn’t really know it, and came through with jokes that didn’t connect. Sure, he could’ve done better, but that crowd was ruthless and probably didn’t come for his brand of comedy. At another place some of his lines would’ve landed, but the whole vibe was off.
@@MichaelMixerMasonGASSA goof comedian is an adaptable comedian. You're just have to know what type of audience you're dealing with. Ranting always work tho.
I agree, especially as I’m Christain so I feel the connection a bit. It’s tough to get booed on stage and get treated like that. One of the sucking parts of being a comedian
The audience paid for professional entertainment, and he was not entertaining, and he didn't act professionally. And, just "having courage to get on stage" isn't enough. If you pay someone for a service, and they don't provide it, you don't applaud them for a nice try. If you go to a restaurant, and the cook fails to cook your food, you don't applaud him for a " nice try"
“You can’t boo me off stage I’m from LA...ight cya guys” lmao. That shit was in the same sentence. I feel bad though. Hope he’s doing better now! Not a good birthday 🤕
The audience was straight up rude though. Comedians feed energy off from the audience and give off their energy as the act goes on. It’s a symbiotic relationship. How is he supposed to get in the groove if the audience isn’t giving him the time or attention? Yeah he could do better on his storytelling, but maybe he had better stories that he could have shared if he didn’t get booed off and if the audience themselves were more interactive.
@SaxonJaygeeE But boo? Yeah I understand that you laugh at things that are funny, but booing is rude. Give the man his time and hope for a better job from the guy next (unfortunately in this case the second guy was also bad lol). And yeah, the Apollo and other places have ruder crowds, but that doesn't take away from the fact that in one or another this crowd was still rude.
You mean to tell me the audience paid real money to *laugh* at a comedian and they need to hear a guy rambling about how this day is his birthday and how broke he is for 5 minute straight with no punchline and the audience is the asshole, its like saying a robbery victim is a dick because he doesnt let a broke robber to steal his wallet
So hard to watch, poor guy. Half of the people booing him probably cringe at the idea of having to public speak but boo a battler just trying to have a go.
fuck that, if you step up to be the light, you better make sure you can shine otherwise folks will boo your dull ass... plain an simple, it comes with the territory...
He was actually funny but it was only because the 1st dude bombed so horribly. The 2nd dude had a different type of humor, but people who are big sympathizers probably didn't find it so funny.
Like I said, he had a different type of humor that sympathizers probably don't find funny. We were laughing with him at the first guy. You don't think he was funny but thats your opinion. He wasn't hilarious but it was definitely funny.
I'm pretty sure it's the deliverance. It's hard being behind a mic. I remember being asked by sister-in-law to give a speech at her and my brothers wedding. I agreed and then 5 minutes before she asked me too be funny (I have the reputation of being goofy and very comedic) so at a short notice I decided to agree. I wanted to test the "crowd" (family/extended family/ friends and coworkers) so I made a little joke and everyone cracked up but then when I actually tried to be funny it was quiet and awkward as hell. I was stiff as a board, but then when I relaxed again I noticed my words were more fluid and my tones were more on queue. That's when it became the funny speech they asked for
It was more than the delivery. The material was bad. A good joke can at least get a chuckle even if it's delivered poorly. He had long-winded setups with punchlines that weren't punchlines.

What jokes?? Haha
The problem is. He is not a natural comedian.
Every few years I have to find this video again. It’s just a CLASSIC.
1st guy needed better delivery and to have more confidence after a failed joke. Second guy just sucked, material got stale after the first 'joke'.
He was the host
1st has potential it’s just he forgot to include the punchline
George Washington the punchline was he grew man boobs. There were no jab lines and the punchline is delivered horribly so it’s hard to catch.
Neither one of them were funny!
Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin and every great comedian was once booed. Dont let it stop you from pursuing your dreams
That incident might make him a better comedian.
You Just names all time greats, that guy will never be that
And they all went on to success, "where is this guy exactly?
truth be told. I don't think you can become better at it if you aren't already funny. well maybe not the first night..that does happen but if after that you don't ha ve it it may not work
qwe qwen Hell Kevin hart had a chicken wing thrown at him
I misread the title, I thought it said 'comedian'
Nice dude
That's cold😂
+Jeremiah Hackney lol goodtimes
lmao
+MrSmackdab Oh that's good
Oh my good sweet lord. This man broke LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE RULE FOR STAND UP COMEDIANS. He just kept going, one after another! 🤦♂️😂
He broke the one and only rule of comedy, "Just be funny".
If he just kept coming back out and retelling the same broke friends joke it'd be the funniest shit I've ever seen lol.
Bro fr 😭😭😭
Fr lmao and it’d be his plan all along
Hell yeah💯💯🤣 I would literally pass out
He doesn’t know the Rule of Three’s
No, it wouldn’t.
The second guy used the last bombing to get a laugh but even that was bad
The first guy was the host, he need to fill the empty times bacause the so called comedian walk out, it doesnt matter if it funny or not, he does it so the audience wont do a refund
What a miserable audience. The first guy was okay.
The material isn't terrible, the delivery was.
Yeah he really wasn’t that good
Yeah honestly if he said it better and didnt stretch it the set would have been fine
G30 _2000 he clearly reuse the same exact punchlines . Nigga even said it smh
Thats how you cure your anxiety in my opinion. Do the most horrific thing u can imagine yourself in and just do it. You realize you’re still breathing.
👍
I don't know what was funnier, the second guy thibking he was funny, or the second guy trying to be funny

What comedian?
Lmao he kept replaying it in his head 😂😂
It's crazy because If I was there I would of been dying of laughter because he was so bad😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Exactly
I honestly never seen a comedian go that long without a single defined punchline or laugh come from the audience.😟
I watched it on that day and it was painful. Almost changed the channel.
The other guy was even worse had good material to start with "a lame comedian getting bood" yet he just told the same joke 6 times droping the mic if he couldn't piggy back that his was probably worse
Dude did too much riffing and didn't structure any punches. God bless him though. Hope he continued on.
Tavon Fenwick but he did
Bingo 👍
That second dude was a bitch. If he had any game himself he would've just done his own shit instead of piling on. Punk ass...that was weak.
He's a comedian his only job is to make people laugh not comfort someone who shouldn't be a comedian.
@@exoskeletorus who said anything about comforting him? I'm just saying he should've done his own set and not shit-talked that dude. That was a pussy move to try to get laughs at that other guy's expense. WEAK.
He left and came back like he was a different dude and got booed again.

southlondon86 No, he made them laugh initially, then he kept saying it because he didn’t know how else to make them laugh
@TV Show Reviews Dude fuck off already. Going on everyone's top comments sucking the 2nd guy off.
@TV Show Reviews What do you mean "beta male"? The second guy looks like he just left his basement to do this show.
@TV Show Reviews People judge you on looks first and then personality. Real life is not like stand up.

D'elius Maxwell wut
It wasn't even ten seconds after he said it. He heard it out loud and thought "that's not a bad idea". This guy is clearly a hack. Just an attention whore who threw a fit when the audience put him in his place and gave him a little challenge. A real comic would try to have fun out there, power through and try to perform for the small handful of people that were actually paying attention.
The second dude sounds like he licked every toad
He's probably from the suburbs in the Valley.
The second guy had more low self esteem than the first guy.🤨
"i am funny i did these jokes last night and they worked"
That was the only funny part of his routine
😂😂😂
Edit
Lol funniest part also the part where he was actually serious 😂
The second dude had even lower self esteem
They're comedians. You bomb that bad you can't expect pity. It's the hosts' job to bring back the funny so the next guy doesn't walk on stage in front of crowd of booers.

Kinda like if suge knight did stand up
He had potential. I'm not gonna shit on him. He wasn't completely terrible and I respect him for doing that. It was bad of the crowd to shit on him.
That's stand-up though. You gotta roll with the punches.
One of the sucking parts of being a comedian

dsw3131 we call them people.. stupid furry
What a disrespectful crowd. It takes a lot of balls to stand on that stage.
+Human runner he was terrible. but he got to keep doing it

For a struggling comedian to use another comedians failure as his act, thats a no talent bully, especially right after.
No shame
The crowd is straight up vile, this goes to show the impact of an audience
The audience was straight up rude though. Comedians feed energy off from the audience and give off their energy as the act goes on. It’s a symbiotic relationship. How is he supposed to get in the groove if the audience isn’t giving him the time or attention? Yeah he could do better on his storytelling, but maybe he had better stories that he could have shared if he didn’t get booed off and if the audience themselves were more interactive.
Vile? Ever heard of the apollos?
@SaxonJaygeeE But boo? Yeah I understand that you laugh at things that are funny, but booing is rude. Give the man his time and hope for a better job from the guy next (unfortunately in this case the second guy was also bad lol). And yeah, the Apollo and other places have ruder crowds, but that doesn't take away from the fact that in one or another this crowd was still rude.

How many times he gunna wear that walking off stage joke out??? Smh 🤦♂️
He sucked too so he had to keep the heat off himself. How bad do you have to be to pile on a guy who just got booed off stage? Weak.
