As a Finnish person this story was particularly hilarious to read 😁 I remember that when I was a kid I saw a news report about some homeless Finnish people sleeping outside in -30°C weather with nothing but their winter clothes, a sleeping bag and a corner to shield them from the wind, so I know full well that as long as you do some basic heat insulation and wind sheltering you can easily survive outside in such temperatures (as long as you know what you're doing obviously, something I think anyone traveling to a place with cold weather should at least do some cursory research on because you never know what might happen and such knowledge might end up saving your life). Hell, I have a friend who fell on some hard times and spent a winter outside, just made himself a little camp around his tent in the woods on the outskirts of the city and kept himself warm when by maintaining a campfire when necessary (wasn't even necessary most of the time as just having plenty of layers of clothing and a sleeping bag was more than enough if it didn't get too cold outside, especially since he kept himself active by doing his marshal arts training, and obviously spent some days indoors, washed his clothes at friends apartments and showered at the dojo he was training at to keep hygienic). He did end up getting pneumonia at the end of the winter but that was mostly due to the weather warning so that the snow started to melt during the day and freeze during the night leading him to be cold and wet all the time so in the end it wasn't really the low temperatures that put his health in danger but actually the exact opposite 😅
Love the accuracy of the ramjet function and operation. Sounded like i was hearing about the blackbird being a space feiring ship. And how the engine stalled out was very well described and understood. Love your narrations.
I at first assumed it was -10C, but that would not justify the effort put in to add insulation that is only good for keeping it =5C... so -10F...about -23C, yeah that is definitely time for an improvised scarf and jacket and long pants instead of shorts. ;-)

As a Canadian I concur, -10C is still quite pleasant
Why do I feel like Norway is about to be given some land to colonize, in exchange for doing search and rescue.
Loved it
Lol
A finn would be working on a still to make booze to keep warn waiting on the rescue. Maybe hinting the wolf equivalent for fun.
