Another thing you could do for the memes is playing Caldwell. You can Coup him, boost both Caldwells and get them back with beauclair/ivar/rainfarn. Its kind of just win more as well, but its fun
In the first game, third round you could have played guillame on the front row and get more of his boost because you had two knights there. Was there a reason you didn't do that?

Yeah Nilfgaardian Knight is the best opener but you can play Master of Puppets if you want and go with him. There's not that many amazing openers for the deck.
