Could you explain how you come up with estimate daily volume from premarket or initial market volume? (times 4 or time 10 isn't even close)
it really is, if you look at gappers 50%+ under 500M market cap. obviously it can vary but ill use x8 recently then compare it to the stocks market cap to get a rough estimate of how far it can spike
@@philosophiesfinest9724 I have looked at 25453 samples filtered down to 2148 gappers above 50% under mkt cap of 500K. Nothing even cvlose to what he says. By the way, Volume does not mean UP, or Down. You never know if it is going to spike or how much will be the spike%. Just potential self-fulfilling prophecy. By the way, it is illigal to give public trading advice.
@@bulentbildik9716 not sure where your aggression came from but ok... so first I would say is it is a BALLPARK estimate and leans towards the bottom of weighted criteria for the setup. Once you trade this setup over and over you notice what p.m volume is too much, too little, etc. Second, you didnt divide the marketcap by the potential $ being traded that day. Lastly, you are technically correct but these stocks that continue to gain after open trade much higher volume than the ones that spike then fade off all day, which is the ideal trade.

Has anyone else had problems finding shares to short recently? Even the big direct access brokers haven't had the borrows like Centerpoint and Cobra
what platform should i use to see stocks with hourly timelines? tradingview has a 1D timeline but it's not as clear as stockstotrade...but stockstotrade is a paid platform, and i'm not ready to jump into stocks yet, i'm still on a simulator
