7:46 is actually a great short flashback because it shows Eren’s reluctance to follow through with Zeke’s plan. The ball toss was symbolism for a handshake as they couldn’t touch yet. Eren dropping the ball signified he didn’t agree with Zeke as we saw in the last minutes of the episode.

I still don't understand why they couldn't have touched there already. What exactly did they have to wait for? Did Eren have to wait for the declaration of war and have the whole world come against them before he could go through with this rumbling plan? But then what about Zeke? He could have started right away, no? Or is that something that is yet to be explained in part 3 (I haven't read the manga).....
@@zoomingjapan First, Eren wouldn't have been able to command a full rumbling if he wasn't near the walls to destroy them, so he planned to do the declaration of war first and then lied to zeke that he will follow the small rumbling plan to destroy Marley's international alliance and then go with the euthanasia plan, and Zeke trusted him. Keep in mind that Zeke didn't want to force Eren into his euthanasia plan because he thought that only Eren would be able to command Ymir.
And the small rumbling plan was proposed by Zeke to gain Eren's trust and convince him to follow his plan (wich is a pretty good plan if you ask me), but Eren just took advantage of it just to do a full rumbling, kill all his enemies (and innocent people) and keep his friends safe for the rest of their lives.

This episode is rated 9.9 on IMDb and it's one of the best AOT episodes for a reason.
Titled 'Two Brothers', It's about 3 sets of brothers, The Yeagers, The Galliards and the Grices. It dives deep into each of their relationships and shows their love for one another. How Zeke loves and wants to redeem Eren, how Marcel Galliard protected his brother by making Reiner the Armoured Titan then later sacrificing his life for him and how Colt tried to protect Falco from becoming a titan.
It's a very deep episode and it explores a lot of themes. However my favorite is probably how the Yeagers always betray the Grices.
Grisha Yeager caused Falco's uncle to be turned into a titans when they were discovered. This is why their family was put under suspicion making Colt and Falco to have to strive to become warrior candidates for a better life.
Eren betrayed Falco's trust by using him to pass on information to his allies and eventually destroy Liberio.
And Finally, Zeke betrayed Colt by turning Falco into a titan after all his pleadings resulting in Colt's death.
Pretty cool yet tragic theme if you ask me.🙂
S3 ep 16 to 21 and S4 ep 3 to 21 all should be 10

Absolutely is the best sequence of episodes in the show. These 3 and the last one are the 10/10s for me this season. Then of course its Warrior, Hero, Midnight Sun and Declaration of War

The next two EPs have to be watched together to be enjoyed properly since they're both flashbacks but these are undoubtedly the best episodes of the entire series by far
I'd actually disagree, because of the sheer mindfuck that happens in the next episode. You pretty much NEED to take a break to understand every single detail in that episode.

Waited a few months for this episode reaction!! The next episode is even better!!
I'd like to take a moment to point out that shot that Gabi took was actually pretty insane. Eren was sprinting horizontally from where she was shooting from, and she hit him right in the neck. Yes he wasn't super far way, but that's still a hard shot to make for someone that probably hasn't used that rifle before. Maybe a bit of luck was involved, but it was a good shot regardless.
Yes, hate her or love her, Gabi is a super sharp shooter. Considering she was the top warrior candidate it's implied that she was trained to shoot that or similar rifles. It also wasn't an accident when she hit Sasha. She spotted her within moments of climbing into the airship, aimed and took her out without hesitation. She only hesitated long enough for Falco to deflect her second shot because her main goal in that moment was to get back at Sasha and didn't really have much of a plan after that.
This is one of the many 10/10 episodes of aot. Everything about it is just perfect.

My girlfriend and I were just silent, had no words until it was over then we just started babbling to each other what we thought but for a good portion of the episode I was speechless.

When Zeke asks Eren why did he betray him. Eren responds "Because I was born in this world". Which were his mothers words in season 3 episode 11, back when she was talking to Keith Sadies about how Eren is special to her even if he doesn't accomplish anything great, he's special for the sole fact of being born into this world. These same words are used by Willy Tybur later on in season 4 episode 5. Which make Eren react when hearing them in Willys speech. Eren telling Zeke that there's no greater salvation than never being born is his way to deceive him. Amazing storytelling and details 👏🏼

I think most people forget their own initial reactions to the show when they say you over react. If i had recorded myself watching season 4 episodes nobody would believe my reactions. Season 1-3 had cool reveals but season 4 is relentless with its twists. This author is the goat.

That soundtrack at the beginning is called Splinter Wolf! it's also has vocals but they never reached that part in the anime lol
after you have your head sliced off, your brain still lives for about 4 seconds. You must consider that he was shot by a precision rifle in his neck, so, the actual time between the decapitation and the fall of his head in zeke's hand is no more than a damn second! I love how the show brings it to us with a lot of static scenes together with the falling of gabi's tear, letting us know that all of that happened almost instantly

Before "The shot" happened I was anticipating a crazy freak out. But seeing the utter disbelief and silence may have been better. I was sort of the same, it was almost an overload.
I knew the manga but I was still amazed by this episode and next ones too, of course! If someone says this is the best anime ever, I won't even argue with this statement. Objectively saying, this is really a god-like level of storytelling, no matter what people may say about how it ends. It's still a genius' work.

Also in the manga the chapter ended with Eren's head being blown off.. imagine waiting a month to see what happened next. Also that was one of the possible endings to Season 4 Part 1 depending on the pacing. Luckily we didn't get that lol

the part in the coordinates and everything coming after is one of my favorite sequence in a series ever, there's just something about it that just hits
This episode is titled two brothers and it is a very easy title to overlook. Bc when you first watch it, it is obviously referring to Zeke and Eren. However, there are a lot more parallels going through then just them. There is Falco and Colt. Colt is trying to save his little brothers life and when fails hugs his brother until his dying breath. Then there is also porco and marcel. Porco spends most of this episode learning that Reiner has been deceiving him all this time and that he should have been the armor titan. And he sees that marcel died bc of Reiner or at least that is what it looks like. So he believes that it is Reiner's fault and his brother would still be alive if he was the armor. I love how the creators named this episode bc it isn't just about Zeke and Eren.
When this part came out in the manga, the chapter ended on Eren's head being blown off by Gabi with his head flying mid air and the manga readers had to wait a entire MONTH to know what happened after that. Next episode is PEAK FICTION. To this day, I would say nothing can top what happens next episode, you are not ready for it.

It was literally just a little something that can also be tossed aside as falco having a concussion 🤷 but I like to think that it was used to foreshadow something along the lines of Falco inheriting one of the nine but seeing as almost every holder at least saw the scouts in 3d maneuver gear, no one would know which one

I love this shot of Gabi just standing there in shock sooo much. It's not even a big moment or anything. But it carries so much weight and you can tell exactly what Gabi is feeling and thinking in that moment. Even just such small moments in AoT are so well crafted and perfected, it's insane

@@SillyStuff1508 I think it is correctly rated. It was a mere reaction scene in the most important episode of the series so far. I do not mean to be read as a criticism, there aren't a whole lot of moments that are close to the other big things that happened.
This is one of the greatest episodes of the show. Zeke’s scream, Falco’s transformation, the music, Eren getting his head blown off, the animation, Eren and Zeke betraying each other, and the cliffhanger, it’s all amazing.
I have been waiting for the next episode ever since Season 4 started, and now it’s so close, that I can reach out and grab it.

This one feels like 2 hours cause so much has happen just in this one episode. And the rest of the episodes in this part 2 are all mind blowing. Can't wait to see your reaction of them.

The next episode/Eren and Zeke going through the memories are my favorite in the ENTIRE series. Everything that happens is great, of course, but them sorting through memories of the past and the force of perspective it shoves onto you is just completely awe-inspiring
