Nice one mate! I did it on the 14th, so not long after you by the looks of it. Interesting that ye did the whole thing in crampons; we ditched them around 4:10 and donned them again at the bottom of the downclimb at 28:20. The quickdraw on the bolt at the crux at 19:55 honestly looks like it's just making things more awkward, we didn't bother with it because it was too fiddly to unclip and reclip halfway through the crux. Brilliant video I have to say, most of the Entrèves videos on UA-cam are too edited and don't show the route in a fluid manner, but this one just hits the spot.
It's a cracking route isn't it!!....I actually enjoy climbing in crampons, didn't feel the need to take them off. Agree on that quickdraw, definitely just got in the way!......You done any other similar routes in the area?? I'm looking to go back in September.
@@CarterCreativeContent Agreed that climbing in crampons is actually fine, you can hold some really nice edges on the front points once you get used to it. Haven't done it myself but on the same day I was doing Entrèves, a couple of mates did the Aiguilles Marbrées and they loved it. Shorter approach than Entrèves and a similar length of a climb, think it's graded AD 4b versus AD- 4c for Entrèves. Could be what you're looking for!
