@@judielias2189 I did the keto for about a year then switched to Intermittent fasting. So I have a daily feeding window I rarely go out of. I basically skip breakfast then have either 1 or 2 meals max rest of the day and close the kitchen no later than 7 pm. This reduces insulin swings.

I'm so glad that she mentioned she's 4'11. Food calorie counter and most of the "accepted" measurements to lose weight just don't help for most women under 5 feet tall. I'm 4'10 and it can be a struggle.
When I started getting in my best shape, my ex stopped taking me to the gym. He didn't like the attention I was getting. He also tried to get me fat while he was lean and fit. Notice I said ex. it wasn't just that area of my life he didn't support anything I was doing creatively. Never came to any of my performances and he never traveled with me. I'm so glad i saw how he was trying to sabotage anything I was doing. He didn't want to support me on purpose because he didn't want me to feel better about myself or do better.

I eat vegan most of the time. But i take a brake from that and eat egg or fish too. And then go back to vegan. Why, because if i stop eating protein meat i mess up my period cycle and i start feeling anorexiky and loose hair and get depressed. Vegan is amazing, but our health is more important.

I don’t think you have to completely cut out the foods you love, it’s all about moderation and budgeting the calories to fit in the foods you like and healthier foods that’ll keep you full and having energy.

It was hard, many days I wanted to give up but, I had a strong 'why' and remember with everyday I continued (especially as it relates to the workout) I am building self discipline. I was just eating a balanced diet (2.2oz of carbs, 3oz of protein and 2cups of veggies)... I changed my oil to a tablespoon of Olive oil and do moderate exercise, most times I did a quick HIIT workout. I have one cheat meal per week. I stayed committed and the results came . Hope that helps.

I've never related to anyone so much, let alone a celebrity. My mantra was 'to have things other people dont, you have to do what others wont' and that kept me working hard. When you eat fruits and vegetables your body gets the nutrients it needs and you’re not hungry. The reason we run around hungry even after we’ve eaten, as you pointed out is because we’re lacking in nutrient for processed foods. Real food fills you up! I am watching this in 2021. Thanks for the inspiration. I lost over 40lbs in 2018 but for the wrong reasons, I was going through a financial crisis and couldn't make ends meet so there wasn't enough to eat. But as soon as things changed the weight came right back on because I wasn't exercising and was eating too many carbs. By the beginning of 2020, I had really gained but thankfully not quite to where I was before. During the lockdown which started in April 2020, I determined I wasn't going to sit around and become a blimp so I followed some fitness videos on UA-cam and by August 1 when things reopened I had lost over20 lbs. I'm now on a fitness program and supplementing it with workouts on UA-cam so watching your videos and similar ones suggested by UA-cam is helping me to stay focused. I intend to make it a lifestyle change. I have started cutting out sugar and white flour and I'm not missing them. Thanks again.

3. Choose a type of cardio for warmup 5-10 min

*can be weightlifting, pilates, zumba, machines, dance, etc.
5. Choose # of reps per set (3 sets total) per exercise, or try a hiit workout
*break 30-60sec between sets
*1-9=brute strength, 10-20=endurance strength
6. Cardio (running, biking, jump roping, swimming, etc.) 20-30+ min (cardio after working muscles has been said to be more effective, but do in the order that you wish)
7. Stretch & foam roll/massage muscles 5-10+ min
nutrition tips:
- roughly 25% fat, 25% protein, 50% carbs per meals + snacks
- may be helpful to use a calorie/macro counter app to track progress (keep within a calorie/macro deficit) or think of a plate format when eating meals (half of plate in carbs, split last half for fats and proteins) or create a list of recipes that fit the proper % of each nutrient or a list of each category of nutrient and what foods go in each category or a weight loss journal, but use your own will power more than the reliance on a tracker system
- make working out and eating healthy as fun as possible and fit to what works for you
- feel mentally balanced and not restricted by calories/macros or food, this is about feeling good about you!
- as many organic and all natural products as possible, many benefits to eating organic
- eat meals made with ingredients I can pronounce
- more than half of body weight in oz of water per day
- look at what you prefer to eat over the course of a month or a few months and evaluate what vitamins you are lacking and what foods/pills you can incorporate to make your body more balanced
- eat until full and satisfied, not stuffed, must maintain a deficit in calories/macros in order to lose weight, try counting calories/macros if it is difficult to stop over eating and stop counting when you feel comfortable with what healthy portions look like
- don’t bored eat!
- drink green tea or coffee, eat spicy foods, and/or drink lots of water to boost metabolism
- reduce stress and develop healthy coping mechanisms for stress (yoga, working out, meditation, writing, art, singing, etc.) don’t rely on food when emotional
- Remind yourself that you are changing your body because you love yourself and want to make yourself feel better, not because you hate yourself. No matter what you look like on the outside and whether you think it looks good or bad and/or fat or skinny, you are not defined by your outer appearance, you are defined by the actions that you take and how you live life as a person. I encourage you to feel more fit in order to make you feel happier and healthier, not to say that being a certain size isn’t okay. Someone at a size xl can feel a thousand times better about their life than someone at a size xs and vice versa. I’m sharing my knowledge because I’m passionate about what I’ve learned and want to help people be their best selves. Research has shown that people who exercise and eat healthy are happier! So let’s be happy and healthy together!

Thank you for this! I'm 23, and I used to be really heavy when I was in high school and beforehand. But once I decided one day to stop bored eating, all the weight fell off, because that was my biggest issue. Now sometimes I'm so busy that I literally forget to eat. but that's the true struggle with ones body and habits, and being able to just go with the flow and make yourself a better you is great

I'm so glad that she mentioned she's 4'11. Food calorie counter and most of the "accepted" measurements to lose weight just don't help for most women under 5 feet tall. I'm 4'10 and it can be a struggle.
When I started getting in my best shape, my ex stopped taking me to the gym. He didn't like the attention I was getting. He also tried to get me fat while he was lean and fit. Notice I said ex. it wasn't just that area of my life he didn't support anything I was doing creatively. Never came to any of my performances and he never traveled with me. I'm so glad i saw how he was trying to sabotage anything I was doing. He didn't want to support me on purpose because he didn't want me to feel better about myself or do better.

I eat vegan most of the time. But i take a brake from that and eat egg or fish too. And then go back to vegan. Why, because if i stop eating protein meat i mess up my period cycle and i start feeling anorexiky and loose hair and get depressed. Vegan is amazing, but our health is more important.

It was hard, many days I wanted to give up but, I had a strong 'why' and remember with everyday I continued (especially as it relates to the workout) I am building self discipline. I was just eating a balanced diet (2.2oz of carbs, 3oz of protein and 2cups of veggies)... I changed my oil to a tablespoon of Olive oil and do moderate exercise, most times I did a quick HIIT workout. I have one cheat meal per week. I stayed committed and the results came . Hope that helps.

When you eat fruits and vegetables your body gets the nutrients it needs and you’re not hungry. The reason we run around hungry even after we’ve eaten, as you pointed out is because we’re lacking in nutrient for processed foods. Real food fills you up! I am watching this in 2021. Thanks for the inspiration. I lost over 40lbs in 2018 but for the wrong reasons, I was going through a financial crisis and couldn't make ends meet so there wasn't enough to eat. But as soon as things changed the weight came right back on because I wasn't exercising and was eating too many carbs. By the beginning of 2020, I had really gained but thankfully not quite to where I was before. During the lockdown which started in April 2020, I determined I wasn't going to sit around and become a blimp so I followed some fitness videos on UA-cam and by August 1 when things reopened I had lost over20 lbs. I'm now on a fitness program and supplementing it with workouts on UA-cam so watching your videos and similar ones suggested by UA-cam is helping me to stay focused. I intend to make it a lifestyle change. I have started cutting out sugar and white flour and I'm not missing them. Thanks again.
