thats true but also kokichi is well know, for example i watched the anime 2 maybe 3 years ago but lately i found a lot of contents with principally kokichi so i decided to play the game for him, the problem is that junko is in the anime and kokichi no so it's harder to really know the character (sorry about my grammar i'm italian)
