I tested this on Highend Munich in 2017. This is by far the best and most exiting audio product I have ever tested. I reacted as the listeners. The first "real world" Headphone experience for me with no difference between loudspeakers and headphones. Will definitely buy one ...
Yes it is. I have tested the Realiser A16 at a demonstration in Paris last year. I will be selling my Realiser A8 in perfect conditions when I get the A16 in early 2018. Just saying...

I owned in original a8 Smyth realiser and it was unbelievably awesome. No words can describe listening to headphones but the sound was exactly as if the stereo was on without headphones being used. Very weird and confusing for the brain at first because you couldn't Feel the Bass but it sounded like there was still lots of bass. I spent close to $10,000 on my stereo and using these headphones mimicked the sound to a point where it was undistinguishable. I'm very interested in this new model. Sad part is, you will never fully believe it until you try them... It's probably the worst part about the product.
Question: How would this compare to the soon-to-be-launched Creative Super X-Fi headphone holography?

There is no affects as you are alluding to…. It just sounds like the stereo that has been recorded in your space.

i have invested already thousands in a dedicated headphone amp ,and also a integrated amplifier

This gear looks amazing
I've had the A8 (the precursor to the A16) for several years. It's indeed amazing. If you prefer the sound of speakers but (like me) don't have the space or budget for a 7-speaker -- let alone a Dolby Atmos -- setup, the Realiser gets you 90 percent of the way there for a fraction of the cost. It can work as an amp on its own, or you can output to an external amp and/or DAC. I do the latter.

It's expensive because of its uniqueness, and possibly more important its complexity, as in, it's an All-in-One; it has a DAC, a headphone amp, and DSP processor. I mean it's basically a sort of high-end receiver.
When it comes to uniqueness, what I mean by that is no one else makes anything close to what this does, and because of its niche market the stock/production of it is lower, and thus more expensive to manufacture. It comes with the same set of high cost causing issues as does any other novel higher quality and lower demand item does.
Sorry guys - I dont normally comment on obese people in YT vids, but putting the HD800 on that gentleman really wasnt in the best interests of your marketing push.
