Awesome man!!!!!! That's exactly why I make videos!
You know my channel started only because I made video (the one called chicken wing spam) for another guy (krushner20 that posts OWC fights here) so he could see how I countered chicken wing spam.
I expected a few people would see it. I never thought I'd get so many people watching but I'm glad I can help people.
I only wish I was better at making videos etc. I'm not really not into making videos, editing or anything. I have no process, a 5 dollar mic and the original Windows7 video editor.
But I'm glad I can help people beat the spammers, it makes it all worth it to me.
      Thanks and take care

I been playing FNC since 2011 but I did stop playing 2013 for a few years because I was getting crushed but around 2015 I started but this time I learned how to move throw combinations and counter. I would move around the ring without blocking and throwing punches just all defense. I practiced how to step side to side and step back and forward. For like a year straight I would do that for hours and see how long I could last in a fight which ended up only being 5 rounds. Then I learned how to throw a one two combo. Straight right left hook or straight right left uppercut and the same with southpaws just straight left right hook etc... Then I learned how to throw 3 or 4 or 5 piece combos. I watched a Manny Pacquiao fight and that's when I said I want to do that. Then I learned how to fight just using one hand during fights. First I learned how to fight with just my lead hand then I learned how to fight with just my power hand. Then I learned how to jab to the face and body. Then I learned how to throw only straight punches but also throw them In combinations no power shots. Then I learned how to throw combinations while moving to my right or left and back or forward. Then last I learned how to throw body shots by only throwing body shots. I would throw either hooks to the body or straights to the body. Sometimes I would do that only using one hand. Just all right hands to the body or vice verca. I'm not going to lie I struggled for a long time trying to master all these things and It took about seven years but It makes the game so much better. When you throw body shots hooks and straights are better to throw because you can land them at a distance unlike hooks. Another thing is straights do just as much damage as hooks but you probably don't think so because all of these guys can only step back and throw a straight punch. Step back hook or uppercut does just as much damage. And since Champion took away the old blocking style they reward you for moving and landing counters.

Sliders do help recover stamina. It’s what your recovery is based on. But it’s very difficult to get the full 14% recovery every round. You have to follow sliders to the last detail.
It’s also in combination with the fighter style. For example, Old School is technical and fundamental style, and you’re going to be active in the later parts of the round for the best recovery. Being outside all the time helps the outside fighter’s stamina recovery, etc.
But the bulk of stamina recovery comes from how you act in the ring based off the sliders.

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  Рік тому

Ok awesome. I figured it was something like that. There were times where I had the sliders one way but due to the circumstances of the fight I fought different.
It those cases I seem to get back less stamina.
      Thanks for clarifying. Much appreciated.

Always look forward to your videos. How do you deal with runners. They’re so fast I can’t catch them. It’s so frustrating chasing them only to take a side step upper cut. I’ve tried dropping my block and that helps, but it’s risky. Also I’ve tried cutting the ring off by switching stances. My current build is a 5’11” 255 lbs inside fighter with a 68” reach. Ty.

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  2 роки тому +1

Yeah, it's hard. I'd try to use the body jab and press the left stick forward so you slide in.
Also flick the left stick towards them to "skip" forward. Just not too much as you'll gas yourself if it's abused.
You can also risk it and use something like a lunging uppercut to the body to close distance.
If I have a super runner I'll only punch his body until he starts slowing down. There is no way to outscore them early so just hit the body.
(Also when they are just standing in front of you waiting, give them a push. a lot of runners wait for you to just side step uppercut you)
Switching stance like you are is very good, I'd practice offline and try to master the long body jab - double body jab to move in.
You can also try this combo. From southpaw, lunging right hook to head , straight to body, then when you get it down add another right hook to body. Just reverse it if you're orthodox.
That combo will cover a lot of distance and the straight to body will often counter any BS they try.
      So yeah, I'd add:
      long body jabs
      lunging uppercuts to body
lunging hook to head, straight to body, hook to body.
Dashing into them (flick left stick towards opponent) along and switching stances if needed.
I'd practice offline and just work on closing distance with lunging punches especially the body jab.
I have a video with a runner, I'll try to post it soon with some commentary. Thanks and take care

Last night I made a short video on using the body jab and the hook-straight to body- hook combo that covers a lot of distance fast. I still need to edit it etc.
I'm looking for a fight with a runner in my files then will create video mixing the offline video with the online fight.
Chasing down runners is very frustrating and difficult, needs a video of it's own. I'll try to get it out quickly.

your stamina management is insane, could you make a video about it?

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  2 роки тому +2

Sure I will make a video about stamina.
Mostly it's trying to use the sticks as much as possible .
I haven't it read anywhere but all my tests have shown sticks use much less stamina than buttons. Sometimes we can make mistakes and not throw what we want but overall the stamina retention is worth making those few mistakes because we use sticks.
Another thing is reach. I throw mostly hooks/uppercuts. The longer the reach I have the less effective those punches are and it seems like the more stamina it takes especially with very long reach. Since I mostly use hooks/uppercuts I usually go with 67-68 inch reach as a heavy.
Another factor is not chasing people after already hitting them. I think I show that a few times in this video where the opponent runs off then we just stand there. That helps a lot with stamina and not taking damage. After we land, we just take those points and make them come to us.
We don't want to miss punches trying to hit an opponent that running away. If he runs away after you hit him, make him come and earn his points by attacking you, not waiting to for you to attack so he can counter punch.
Also, having high/maxed Heart (body) stats, blocking stats seems to help.
Accuracy is also very important. Try to shoot for 55-60% accuracy or better. Can't always do so but it is a key factor in keeping stamina.
I'll make a video covering these topics. Thanks again

    Questions I would love answered!!!
    1. Does Step Back guy use Normal or Power straights. I feel its Normal Straights but, man there is a lot of power if its Normal.
2.What style is Your build in this fight? Is it your Bully Build or something else?
    3. Thank you for the tips. You seem to do better than I do using (what I thought) the same strategy/style.

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  Рік тому

Yeah, the step back straights (and stepback punches in general) do tremendous damage. But some players use power straight , some normal. Either way I'd estimate they are twice as powerful as a regular straight especially when it's timed correctly.
So stepback guys use both power and normal straight punch, depends on the player.
The build: I use different punch stats to change things up but normally my build is something like this:
Always inside fighter or brawler. - they have the high toughness/chin to deal with the spam. Plus they have the most power.
I always max out my chin, block, heart (body) first in that order.
      Then combos maxed.
Then max body hooks to counter their straights from southpaw or orthodox spammers.
Body uppercuts: Sometimes I only put them up halfway so I can have the straight to body maxed out. Sometimes I max my uppercuts to body but have no stats on the straight to body.
The straight to body can be used as a jab to body if you switch stance and works tremendously to counter straight spam so it's probably smarter to have body uppercuts half way levelled up and max the straight to body.
Some times I don't max the body uppercuts or body straight and put the points on the jab to head. I switch it up.
Then I max my hooks to head for later in the fight to get knockdowns and ko's, hooks to head also work great when using bob n weave to finish fights late.
Then I go with a heavy build, short height and reach / cross block/ power stance style/ power-foreman- chavez-tyson punch style.
But as a general rule as a heavyweight 90 overall
      5'10
      250ish lbs
      68 inch reach
      cross block
      power stance
      power punch style
max chin, heart, block, combos ( i keep head movement stats low , I just bob n weave instead)
      All hooks 20 points (maxed)
      Body straight 20 points(maxed)
Body uppercuts 10-12 points (half way)
jab to head first star (5-6 points)
The rest of the punch stats are default or any leftover points I put on jab to head
I kind of touched on build here

I've been trying but can you flash ko with a body shot? It seems easier for those with straights to land them

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  2 роки тому

Yeah man, it's very rare to get a flash ko with a body shot. In fact, the ones I remember where the opp was strong and I still got a flash body ko was from many months ago.
I'd estimate that even if landing 150-200 power body shots per fight with level 20 body punches, maybe you get a flash body ko once in 50-75 fights.
      It's pretty bad.
If you have maxed straight to head and land it pretty good chances are you will get a flash ko or two in one gaming session.
It's still good imo to have your body shots leveled up to 20 because of how hard they hit and how accurate they are.
If the opp is getting exhausted (in the 30 -40% stamina range) it seems to increase your odds of getting a body ko.
But comparing body flash KOs with head straight flash KOs there is no comparison. The head shots win everytime.
You could forego leveling up some of your body punches and max the head straight out.
With something like that you're gonna trade having two body punches fully maxed and another punch leveled partially up in exchange for the having the maxed straight to head. (head straight takes a lot of xp points for inside fighter/brawler). Level 20 head straight is 8,800 points, maxed body hook is like 3,400.
You could do something like that and just use the few body punches you do have then use the level 20 straight as a high level jab by switching stances. then once the opp is getting tired switch stances back so you now have the level 20 straight to head again for the ko late in fight.
I'd play around with things but yeah, the maxed out straight to head dominates when it comes to kos.

Can you do a video on inside power Punching

    • @dequanjabooty7379
      @dequanjabooty7379  Рік тому

Yeah I can do that. That's my thing. For now an important aspect is to slowly land those power body shots and not get greedy.
If you see in this video ua-cam.com/video/3mSEVS3KCR4/v-deo.html
the section vs the big Tyson build spammer guy I try to land a few good body shots (2-4) in round 1, then a few more in round two (4-6) then more in round three, I land a power body shot combo and let him run off.
Then we just drag the fight out until we can get him cornered and then really smash on him but at the same time we want him to punch back with his back on the ropes.
He will be slowed down late fight enough to where we can use "perfect block". That's where you hit him, let him punch and immediately punch back with a power shot or two.
I have the footage already but the power inside fighting I will need to make the video that really shows the perfect block part. I don't have much of that in my videos.
Also other than going slow at first the letting the body punches take effect is super important. It's boring but it is a massive help in finally getting them pinned on the ropes to do the best power inside fighting. I did some of that here ua-cam.com/video/3mSEVS3KCR4/v-deo.html but I could have done better explaining. (I'm not a youtube guy so it's hard for me sometimes to explain)
But yeah man, I will (should) have time this weekend to work on that video.
Take care man and just keep practicing, that's the most important thing.

Yeah, if they are modded, theres really nothing that can be done most times.
There are a few channels on youtube that talk about it or show it. One can be found by searching in youtube "fight night champion modders captain swifty"
      ua-cam.com/video/E0j3CY3oZ4U/v-deo.html
Then if you go through some of the videos on a fight night channel called Angel Hades you can actually see dudes go 12 rounds with 100% stamina the whole fight while they punching sloppy. Clearly modding. Even on the fights where dudes are commentating the bring it up.
The if you search "fight night champion biggest glitch" or something like that you can see a boxer that is like 400lbs with 100 inch reach and 96 overall when the real max points is 91.
So modding is a real thing and theres really not much we can do but just try to remember them and not fight them.

I show some tests with different builds in that video. (see above link for build test)
The good thing is that there is always the exception to the rule. Just how in the past people said short reach sucks, I learned to make it work. I think you can do the same using counter punchers/outside fighters.
The trick will be really studying what works and what doesn't and make adjustments from there as soon as you learn.
Years ago I used all the styles and did ok, if I were to use counterpunchers today I would work on only scoring enough to win rounds and never attack with anything more than a jab or two if I was up on score. I would also try to keep my stamina as high as possible.
People might talk trash about that style but that's what I think would work best and it would be their fault for not doing something about it.
There is a guy on youtube named malky pablo, he is a good counter puncher and has videos up, so does a guy named fight night finest. I'd check them out. Malky has a fight up vs a guy named Krushner, I think the thumbnail is a clown or something. ( they got upset with each other) but anyway, in that fight malky boxed very good. That would be a good style for using counterpunchers/outside fighters. If you have time I'd take a look at that fight for ideas.
Thanks for the great question! take care

game is stupid , scorecards broken. I still play it though lol but I can’t understand how someone beats me while missing most of their punches yet i’m more accurate . I’d be landing really good punching and making them miss but to the judges they say “ ah i’m just standing there “ but in reality I’m making them miss and pay with counters and even small combos & clean jabs. Idk how they keep winning … it seems like my best luck is just knocking them out .

How do you block your body

You bend/crouch down while blocking. I have a video on my channel called "Online tips for 2021" something like that, has body blocking

Sorry about that, I know they are long. I am not a youtube person. I'm working on that.
A year ago I made a video for another guy that plays fight night and he posts videos. (krushner) I just a made a video about spam to show him my technique to counter it. I thought only he would see it.
After that video 10k people watched it and starting asking for more videos. If it wasn't for that I would not make videos because it's not my thing. I'm not good at it, just doing the best I can.
I will try to make them shorter.
