They're really laying it on heavy that Clause is probably going to die in the process of saving Kasel and Frey. Man it's going to destroy those two if he dies. Well none of the playable characters have actually died as far as I know/recall so hopefully that means Clause will be fine. Plus they're hopefully going to show Kasel and Clause using Aea and Galicta together.
Yeah no I am 100 with Clause on this one. None of those who tried to stop him even TRIED to understand his stance. They already have Frey and Kasel down as enemies that must be slain no matter what.
@@chalunkxlight578 Yes but as we saw in that last flashback he made his love for Frey and Kasel OBNOXIOUSLY well known to other knights and I don't think gramps and others close to him were spared that. Would not take a rocket scientist to know he would not want to kill them unless there was absolutely no chance.

I recall that while Gramps acting tough in front of Clause , he didn't want to believe that Kasel has become a dark lord hence asking a quetion to them before fighting. And Clause doesn't seem to be like 'if there's no choice' type, I think he'll remain resolute on the hope that he can revert them back again.
Keep in mind that most of the people in Orvel don't really have a connection to Kasel and Frey like Clause does. Clause is the one who's very well known and liked by everyone, Kasel and Frey are not as well established as him at least before the events of the story start. So it makes sense that Scarlet, Chase, Demia and the others are dead set on putting Kasel and Frey down. Scarlet acknowledges that Clause is set on saving his family and Chase sees it as well hence why they're giving him his shot. As for Ricardo, he cares of course but he's just going to bite the bullet since he has to protect his home too. The rest of the world knows how dangerous the Dark Lord is so they're not taking the chance.
@@AdeptKing Basically, everyone has their own logic & circumstance to make their choice. While Kasel is indeed under controlled of the dark lord, Frey is different as she chose to be like that just to follow him. So i doubt if she can be revert back even after Kasel has been reverted back.

Although we all know that Clause will surely die because of his Sword(Galicta) that consumed his life force. I wish that miracle could happen or some other plot twist. Edit: so Clause really did die.... but im not losing hope after Hilda declared that he can be revive.

@@AdeptKing i hope so, but after Hilda explained everything about the Sword and what happen to King Siegfried, i dont know what to say... But for the last i want to see Kasel and Clause Slaying Goddess Lua. And i hope in the future that they will fight Lea ( Goddess of Destruction ) too.
@@KamisatoAyaka2023 Yeah that is rather telling. Though I have a feeling that they're going to bring Siegfried into the game somehow and if they do that then its proof there's a way. At the very least yeah they are probably going to show the brothers using the swords together, I hope. It would be a waste if they don't show the swords being used together.
Hopefully clause can save them without dying .Who knows maybe their fight either has them get their swords under control or maybe their swords may get destroyed in the process where the life drain stops and kasel can't be influenced after getting de possessed

Like 2nd lead syndrome.....:(( Edit: came back to this comment because I recently came to know from a blog posted by a beta player that originally clause was supposed to die very early on in the story in a demon attack. But that version was scraped because the beta players rebelled, due to Vespa killing a playable character.
It's already stated by Hilda that Galicta will keep draining Clause's life force as long as he use it. So unless the story team decide to create another miracle, Clause will surely die.
