This phone is slow. When I tap on an app it takes a second for it to launch. It’s not my main phone but I’m probably gonna sell it and buy something a bit faster.
Edit: For anyone curious, I bought A17 and it's MUCH better and faster and more premium feeling.
I dont recommend this, I have this phone for months now, this phone is very laggy because of the g35 processor.
Idk why they often bind "Screen refresh rate" to "Touch Sampling Rate."
Saying that swiping feels sluggish because of the standard display refreshrate is pretty misleading. No, that's like saying your car is slow because it has a small fuel tank. The screen will always be at 60hz, if not adaptive.
The reason why animations when doing heavier tasks feel delayed is mainly due to the phone's processing speed. Your phone will still have to process the gestures your finger makes inorder to give the needed output. This results in a delay which gets worse with a slower processing speed. What's more; it can get worse if you're running something heavy because the phone will have to do more.
Furthermore, the phone will have to use more power inorder to run a display with a higher refreshrate, which will only lead to a poor experience on lower-end hardware the moment you use the phone for heavier tasks.Hence the lag when swiping.
"Touch Sampling Rate" refers to the amount of sampling (scanning) the display does per second. This allows your phone to quickly detect and accurately follow gestures although, it also uses processing power and also needs to be processed, still.
The iPhone 7 would feel sluggish if this were the case. It has a 60hz panel and the phone is from half a decade ago. Meaning, almost everything except the software are old af. And yet, it still feels quick and snappy on day to day use.
I believe the issue has more to do with software rather than the hardware. Android 11 is on heavy side and you will feel it on low spec-ed devices. Manufacturers also have to optimize the software for the hardware of the device inorder to make things feel fluid.
Compare an Android 10, HelioP22 powered Huawei Y6p to this and you'll see the difference.
With this said, Google said to have optimized Android 12 so much that it has gone a few steps closer to IOS. And they made it even better with Android 13. With the right specs and software optimization, even Budget devices would fly through basic use.
is it a good phone? bc i might buy it.
Thank you for this information
This is the worst phone I have ever had, constantly getting "cannot connect to server" on screen, NEVER had this with other phones, cannot recommend it at all
finally someone who did a review on this phone ;-;
Konti nlang may Infinix note 12 kana
Thanks for thorough review. Sounds like it is a little sluggish and mediocre. Maybe tcl 306 or moto G31 better bet
Oppo A16 or Infinix Smart 8? Can someone help💗
I’m no expert in tech review, so correct me if I’m wrong. But I really don’t think you could do a good camera review of the handset if you’re only capturing sceneries on a laptop screen. Just my two cents.
nice review 😊
Music to loud. Can barely hear you...
Watch this on my oppo a16 phone
He says that battery last for 12 h 15 min but mine says 1 day and 2 hours
Bought mine 2 months back but it's already giving me space problems I'll sell it soon😟
Bought mine 3 months back n sold it last week because of space
is it worth it
Space like storage?
I'd get an sd card if I were u
Maybe you need to check your settings, just like mine i thought there's a problem in my phone because when the say i bought it the 90 percent of space had already been used but when i checked on my settings i figured it out
RELAUNCH pero mahal parin, di parin kakagatin yan. Pangit specs REDMI NOTE 11 nalang
Decent use but after 3 months bigla nalang hindi na nag charge at na dead , . never na talaga nag charge .
Ayoss na ba boss cp mo.
Tagal na pinadala service center para palitan . Pangit Oppo never again. Overprice pa wala pa kasi ako alam nung sa specs kaya na sales talk.
You must have broke your phone, my phone is still working even after 2 years. My phone always falls daily and it is not broken.
Oppo Sucks recycle nalang mga unit nila..last year pa yan eh🤮🤮🤮🤮
Got this phone 2 years ago and this is my exp (Using it now):
It's super slow, everything feels delayed and sluggish. Horrible for gaming, ok for photo taking and overall a 6/10. Using this as a dumb phone is your best choice.
Playing CODM or other realistic graphics game felt so bad, 20 fps and under. Minecraft with speedboost optifine mod on low is 30-60 fps.
Camera is not so good. I use a different camera app (Pixel Cam) and colors look so beautiful, detail is bad but you can only properly notice if you zoom in
BUT!! Speaker, screen quality, and battery is personally worth it for a dumb phone at the current price point which is abt 6k.
I've had mine as well for 2 years already, and it is indeed very slow.
PS It's the only phone I have.
@@OneDropIsAllItTakes 2 years as well. I recommend POCO phones since they are both affordable and high quality for an upgrade. Poco X6 5G for gaming and Poco M6 Pro for photography.
@@TMNT_Mikey Thanks for the advice. I'll look into it in the future when I decide to get a better phone.
Good Evening Sir Jose 🧡💙
It's my back up phone 📱 📲
Can do a review on vivo y22s too next time? Thanks.
