- The Wind River Grind, Spring Chinook Fishing with one of my sons was a struggle at 1st but we got it done in the 4th quarter. Shortbus Flashers and Prawn Rigs. Got the job done! My sons 1st Chinook of his life and a memory that will last forever!

This brings me back to when my dad took me out kokanee fishing as a kid and when my grandpa and grandma would bring me out on lower Columbia. Caught some really big kings, after those few years i was hooked couldn’t stop fishing.
That’s amazing brother! I love reminiscing about my 1st salmon as well. Life long memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything!

Way to go Nash! Is your boat 15.5' I like fishing out of a skiff more then bigger boats. Skiffs don't put out a huge shadow like those big sleds, and that 25hp sips the gas that's nice.
I fish lingcod with the same size boat and motor and love it!🎣

Was this recent? I have tried to find the regs for fishing where you are, but cannot find anything.
Yes it was last thursday! The regs say the main Channel of the columbia are closed certain fisheries are side channels of the columbia and have there own regulations!
