I’ve been one of the few people who has been following his career as we both have the same name:Josh Johnson. He’s a fighter and his persistence is unmatched. I have nothing but respect for the guy who turns up first when I google my own name
Hello fellow Joshua Johnson (there's far too many people with our name lol). I've followed him for the exact same reason and as a ravens fan, it was hilarious for me and my friends and family when he had to become the starter for a bit when Lamar got injured. Dude is going to be an excellent coach in the future
Agreed. What a phenomenal attitude. I'm a Washington fan and the Jay Gruden years were atrocious, but Johnson will always bring a smile to my face since he got his first win with us
I’ve made it my mission that he is my back up qb in every madden I ever played, from 08 to 17. If he ever walked away I made sure he played at a hall of fame level
I coach 4th and fifth grade football, i have parents tell me their son should play more of they should play quarterback, i have one kid who can play qb, he is not the fastest, or athletic, but he makes quick decisions with the ball and understands route concepts. He also knows the rules and can get his team set and audible to a different play. Kid is a math wizard, my point of this is alot of backups are in the league because they are smart and understand football. To many kids want to do the flashy things and it comes down to how you can execute a play and know the play
Imagine how much guaranteed money has added up for this dude throughout his career. Obviously none of the contracts are mind blowing by nfl standards but with all of them adding up I'm sure he's set for life if he manages his money right. Mad respect, dude clearly loves the game and he's put in so much work providing a good life for his family. Im a niners fan and i remember him coming in after lance, jimmy g, and purdy all got hurt
I didn't know who Josh Johnson was until Last Year (2023) when he got a MUT Card, dude was a BEAST. Played for so Long and Bounced around for so Long that he's become a LEGEND.
I remember seeing him come in as the backup QB in the NFC Championship game against the Eagles and instantly knew we were screwed, not sure what he was doing on niners in the first place honestly
As a sports card collector can tell you that people buy his 2008 rookie cards a lot. More than Ryan, Flacco, and Henne. Of course he is still active. Yeah, Flacco is still around atm, but his autos fetch around $10 and up.
Appreciate that! Yeah I can see how that would be irritating, looking to minimize it for this next video. There was like a minute stretch in this one where there was nothing but shaking!
Josh Johnson isn't playing to be a full-time starting QB. He's a known quantity as a backup who you know can learn the play book and execute NFL throws. There's probably only 80 guys in the world who can do both of those things, and a lot of them are hurt at any given time. He's a seat filler, but those seats need to be filled. That's why he keeps playing, and is paid to keep playing.
Would you really say no to the amount of money backups make for doing little work ? Pays Way better than a normal job so if they keep offering might as well
Reached 10K views on this video, thank you so much to everyone that helped out! I will be sure to correctly pronounce ‘Harbaugh’ next time!

Damn that’s cool
The comedian of the same name (who I’m a fan of) is what comes up first when I Google the name lol

He doesn’t actually turn up first on google for the record .
He has to be just the coolest dude ever to hang out with and be around. No way you stick around that long without being a great guy.

As a Ravens fan, i was happy with his time spent with us, can always count on him !
RIGHT!
this will be very useful for immaculate gridiron thank you

Josh Johnson the goat tho
His story deserves a ring
7:14 bro played madden to know his teammates names😭😭😭
When there's a will there's a way.
Yep. Can't is a mindset

I wouldn’t say Josh Johnson has “played” for 24 teams, maybe he’s been in 24 different training facilities but that’s about it
Look at his wiki
He has been ON 24 teams but some are not nfl
I must say this man Josh J has a beautiful spirit. He was at a park yesterday casually playing football with some kids ❤️

josh johnson is my man in immaculate grid
josh Johnson Josh Dobbs Josh McCown are all journeyman quarterbacks Josh Allen finna be one too in a fews years the Qb Josh curse is real people
Let this be a lesson: If your name is Josh and you have a shot in the NFL, change your name.
Wouldn't be surprised if Josh Allen does become a journey man QB
And with a high chance of not winning a Super Bowl
I remember seeing him come in as the backup QB in the NFC Championship game against the Eagles and instantly knew we were screwed, not sure what he was doing on niners in the first place honestly
Honestly incredible video! Great work!
Great story.
This is awesome
nice tribute to an Unknown Legend...
Ah yes, Coach Jim “Harbog”.
A cruel but constructive lesson the next time I do a video involving a Harbaugh 😭
Steelers Fan and we haven't had him on the team yet
Need to complete the Mt Rushmore
@@brickwallblitz can we be there too? -eagles fan
Ryan Fitzpatrick if he played more than 1 season for a team...it was a MIRACLE!!
He's still the 2020 xfl mvp.

Dude great story, great narration. Haaaate the screen shaking effect though. But that might just be me.

Carved a nice bit of earnings I appreciate the hustle
Pretty amazing guy
How can you not root for the guy
The guy didn’t do anything to help niners win NFC Championship
@@dariusdafigga Sounds like you weren't rooting for him
as a Niner fan we did him so dirty 😂

If Josh Johnson hasn't played for your team, you're lying
He’s never been a bear
What he said
Patriots
Titans
For football money understanders: what’s the deal with the repeated signing and releasing thing? Does that happen a lot? Is it a money thing?
Why is the screen shaking most of the video

That’s Dope AF ☝️W 31yo
Amazing
That’s what makes Pro Sports any good.
dude must have a huge hat rack
It took me a couple stints to realize this is not about Josh Freeman
HI just played yesterday on Sunday night football
@@jackcosmic11 yes and he completed a pass!
He wws a solid QB2 for Baltimore
how does getting paid work if hes constantly getting signed and cut?
the grainy and shaky editing is just outright annoying

lmao, this is what part 10 will be
It's so comical. But good for him.
As a chiefs fan I would’ve taken Josh Johnson Blaine Gabbert any day
