Perfect Obedience
The cross of pain and shame is the throne of glory for Jesus, who completely followed the will of God. Jesus gave the beloved disciple to His mother, and His beloved mother to His disciple. We see ourselves as the beloved disciple and Mary as our mother, because it is what Jesus wants.
