Sometimes, hearing hate mail is just rediculesly funny. Like, sure this show is confusing because it has the art style of a childs show, but the content isn't. It never was made for children and personally, violence and such are bad, but this is just a cartoon. So why bother hating on it? Sure, sounds pretty wrong to say you love the show for the violence in it, but that doesn't mean you have automatically problems. Also you can't blame the creators because there are people who like this or this show wouldn't even exist. And when you aren't up for it and watch a show by accident, you can't blame the creators. It's not a company's/celebrity's fault for you not watching your kids. People can make what they want and it's your responsibility as a parent to make sure they don't run into anything inappropriate. If your kid does run into something inappropriate, it's your (or maybe your kid's fault if they try to bypass the restrictions you set up for them) fault, not the company's TL;DR: Companys/celebrities are not baby sitters
I really like Happy Tree Friends, but I understand that it isn't for everyone. Not everyone enjoys seeing that kind of brutal, exaggerated violence in fiction, especially when it contrasts with a "kiddie show" setting.
I can understand SOME of the people's concern but others were clearly not thinking. "Oh, kids should not watch this because it is violent!" WELCOME TO THE INTERNET MY FRIEND. By joining you agreed that you will endure or ignore what you find here. Not EVERY cartoon has to cater to kids. Now about the "animal abuse" it's animal to animal not human to animal. So with that logic 95% of animal documentaries is animal abuse because an animal gets hurt. If you don't like violence don't return to watch ANOTHER episode. Do your research before watching ANY web series, just to be safe. Remember, it may now seem like it but the Internet is NOT a children's playground.

Happy friends has never disturbed me. It’s softcore in my opinion. I’m a big fan of the show. I’ve been watching HTF since I was 8. It’s a great show and I appreciate your work to the fullest.

Mah friends told meh to watch this and I love them forever.
Sometimes, hearing hate mail is just rediculesly funny. Like, sure this show is confusing because it has the art style of a childs show, but the content isn't. It never was made for children and personally, violence and such are bad, but this is just a cartoon. So why bother hating on it? Sure, sounds pretty wrong to say you love the show for the violence in it, but that doesn't mean you have automatically problems. Also you can't blame the creators because there are people who like this or this show wouldn't even exist. And when you aren't up for it and watch a show by accident, you can't blame the creators. Just stop watching and watch something else what is more your thing instead of going all flaming on it for little reason.
But whatever, there will also people who will hate things like this and I can just say: I am looking forward for more funny comments xD

It's not a company's/celebrity's fault for you not watching your kids. People can make what they want and it's your responsibility as a parent to make sure they don't run into anything inappropriate. If your kid does run into something inappropriate, it's your (or maybe your kid's fault if they try to bypass the restrictions you set up for them) fault, not the company's

I really like Happy Tree Friends, but I understand that it isn't for everyone. Not everyone enjoys seeing that kind of brutal, exaggerated violence in fiction, especially when it contrasts with a "kiddie show" setting.

They don't have to perceive it in such a gory form though. Which is why HTF is, obviously, not a kids show.
I can understand SOME of the people's concern but others were clearly not thinking. "Oh, kids should not watch this because it is violent!" WELCOME TO THE INTERNET MY FRIEND. By joining you agreed that you will endure or ignore what you find here. Not EVERY cartoon has to cater to kids. Now about the "animal abuse" it's animal to animal not human to animal. So with that logic 95% of animal documentaries is animal abuse because an animal gets hurt. If you don't like violence don't return to watch ANOTHER episode. Do your research before watching ANY web series, just to be safe. Remember, it may now seem like it but the Internet is NOT a children's playground.

When the voice actors read some of the statements, I can imagine the words coming from the actual characters' mouths. For example, Petunia might hate her own show because she keeps getting killed and humiliated once a month.
