@@mitchellc4 The Jehovah witness copypastas get annoying. Name a “prophetic prediction” that your leaders have gotten right. And then name every single one they’ve gotten wrong. They will never know as only God knows. Mark 13:32
“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows-neither the angels in heaven nor the Son-except the Father.”
      Now for John 9:38-39
38 “I believe, Lord!” he said, and he worshiped him.
39 Jesus said, “I came into this world
for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”
Interesting, that he was worshiped and he did not reject because who but God alone can be worshiped? Revelation 19:10
“10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Additionally, even the Bible states that Jesus is God.
      Romans 9:5
“The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Christ, who is God over all, praised forever. Amen.”
      Philippians 2:6-8
“who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
      as something to be exploited.
      7 Instead he emptied himself
by assuming the form of a servant,
taking on the likeness of humanity.
And when he had come as a man,
8 he humbled himself by becoming obedient
      to the point of death-
even to death on a cross.”
      Hebrews 1:8
      “but to the Son:
      Your throne, God,
      is forever and ever,
and the scepter of your kingdom
      is a scepter of justice.”
He also claimed to be God!
      John 8:58
“Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, before Abraham was, I am.”
Here the Greek word ego eimi is used for I am. Which is the enigmatic form, interesting. This word is the equivalent of Ehyah Asher Ehyah in exodus 3, I AM WHO I AM.
Colossians 1:16 also states that Jesus is the creator.
“For everything was created by him,
      in heaven and on earth,
      the visible and the invisible,
      whether thrones or dominions
      or rulers or authorities-
all things have been created through him and for him.”
Therefore Jesus cannot possibly be an Angel. Hebrews 1:6 states that even the angels worship him, and the angels can’t worship another Angel, only God.
“Again, when he brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
And let all God’s angels worship him.”
      God bless!

their insight was so helpful for me in deciding if i should get a new bible. they mentioned that all the new translations coming out focus on the people, readability, and modern culture who feel the need to update the word (ie, 2020 editions), while the LSB's primary audience and priority is God first and how he wants His word to be read by us the reader. when i heard that, i just knew that the decision was already made for me and i preordered.

God is the author of Scripture, not it’s audience. Translations of the Bible must take human readers into account. Because humans and their languages change, Bible translations must also change since the goal of translation is communication. Otherwise why bother translating it, let’s just recite the words from the original languages like Muslims do with the Quran.

I remembered watching that a while ago and remembered the context being an IF someone came to christ after taking the mark?' not a 'CAN someone come to christ after taking the mark?' He says these people won't enter the kingdom of God and then says you WERE also that very thing, and yet you are going into God's kingdom. So I dont agree with John MacArthur, but theres a different answer. CAN someone come to Christ after taking the mark? Yes. Will it happen? I would say no because it is a decision against God, joining with His enemy. Can it? Yes. Will it? No. But I do know that this is a dangerous teaching and should not allow teachers to say by any means that it's ok to take the mark because you can be forgiven. Very dangerous especially with the stupidity of modern people to say they'll be saved 'when they're done living they're own life.'
