Still alive! Just haven't been out on aul Daisy recently, was clearing out files on my hard drive and found this clip from February(?) so here ya go! Hope alls well in your part of the world this December. Should be back to regular videos again next year all going well 🤞
Some years ago, I was riding my Himalayan and following a mate on his GT535. We caught up with a car and my mate pulled out to pass him. I dropped a gear and pulled out too but, as I got next to the driver's door, I ran out of speed. I was a little frantic for a moment and I contemplated braking to drop back. THEN I remembered I wasn't in top gear. I simply changed up (duh) and completed the passing move quite easily. 😂 These Royal Enfields are more capable than we give them credit for. Glad to see you back again.
G’day Brendon, maaate, it’s sooo good to see you again. And Daisy of course. I’m the total idiot that sold my beautiful RE Tribute earlier this year & managed to buy her back a few months later, you might recall as I cried on your shoulder about it at the time 🙈🙄🫣. Wishing you, your family , ( including Daisy of course,) a fantabulastic Christmas, new year & I hope 2025 brings you everything your heart desires. As always ride safe, take care. Hooroo for now 👍🏍😎
I recently rode my 59 Constellation with my mate on the back at 80mph and shortly after got a flat tire.makes you think I can tell you. Have a great xmas Brendan and look forward to your adventures come the spring.
I have the same bike in the U.S. From the position of the needle on the speedometer, if it is in MPH, then you were going about 70 mph. Mine tops out at around 73 mph GPS. But it feels like it is about to fly apart, and the vibrations become very unpleasant. I ride at around 55 mph, where it is very comfortable and relaxing.
Did you ever consider changing the stock exhaust? This bike has true machine gun sound. It becomes more noticeable and pleasure to ride with every thump up your arms.

I've never had the Bullet up to that? 120kmph+? Just had a new chain and sprocket set put on, so will test it up to 110.
Daisy Bell feeling frisky! Merry Christmas, Brendan, from me, Oddball and Fritz!
