Trains Dangerous Interlocking Close Calls Compilations

- This is a video I made of all the near hits of trains at the diamond interlocking in Plant City Florida over the past years. A compilation of the best edits of trains almost hitting each other. This video was made for entertainment purposes only and no train or person was at risk of being hit. It is a line up of video's that were edited at it's best to make it look like the trains were in danger of hitting each other.

Thank you for teaching me no matter how far we go on technology, the sun and the shadows are the best clocks of all times.
Big shadow jumps out of nowhere, at 8:14...lower right
And Cars vanishes in the background...
Mark Conley it’s all editing read the description
I was getting worried that I was the only person that noticed the shadows, cloud formation, and the changes in the background..😌😂😂
@@markconley996 And a passenger train runs thru a red stop signal at 3;16 lol/ still kool though.
With selective editing, anything can be made to look dangerous.
Yeah, this guy has a job waiting for him at NBC, including the cheesy voice-overs.
KutWrite - But he’s not ”slick” enough to be at Fox.
His handle say's it all.
Exactly
I agree. You can tell by the shadows. There is no way the dispatcher would do this.
I remember those in the past, I was fooled before, but then I realized it was all editing a year later.
I remember them too,but now i can see its all edited
That's because of the different passenger cars that the Amtrak train was using in this video. Most noticable changes are the baggage cars and the dining cars.

I wonder how much it startles the passengers when they hear the loud banging of the diamond crossover.
Trainfan1055 yea lol and i also wonder how many passeng3rs jump out of there seats when they see the other trains
With the up to date suspension systems passenger equipment has. Passengers will only hear a low rumble.
Not as much as a speeding csx train 30 meters away I would imagine
@@fairwayrailproductions3239 didn’t expect to see u here joe
Certainly startles me
Imagine if this wasn't edited and the trains actually collided each other...
that is why I made this up because one day this could happen.
Millenniumforce if it did happen total Destruction
Eter thg doesn't CV
@@Millenniumforce no actually because signals exist
Good tower signalman will not let it happened.
Jim at the end really cracked me up!
Jaw Tooth hey say tuned for my Amrtak videos live action At Martinez today
Hi jaw tooth!
I like the Amtrak VS CSX crash at 10:49
Gotta love that wheel clatter on the diamonds
That man yelling was me watching the video 😂 they haven’t hit each other but still.... WHY?!

Allen you are such a character. Just was so entertaining I was laughing myself silly we need to all laugh everyday
Man what's up with these CSX conductors, they must be falling asleep on the signals. Too many close calls. 😝😁
Nice editing!

@@RailsofForney shut up
I do love the sound the cars make as they traverse the crossing. These kinds of crossings on the main line are very rare in the UK. They usually have a bridge.
Very rare?
@@CC-185TheGreatGamerandOvi yes. They are rare. They prefer not to have 2 main lines crossing on the same grade. Not saying that there are not examples. The only one that I can think of is the one just north of Newark on the ECML
That split screen was so cool!
Lol!!! That guy in the video! All you can hear is him freaking out! This was funny & great!
Hearing trains at once is music to my ears
It's nice that he hasn't pretended that these were real, the end one's clipping was actually kind of funny in it's mistakes
Thank goodness for PTC!
Wasn’t that a close call between Amtrak and CSX that was amazing 😉
It's been edited, look at the cars in the background between trains.
@@sanddabz5635 you could see the shadows or the camera moving after the amtrak or csx train

Oh wow! The old Tropicana train at 5:15! If there are three things Alan loves it's locomotive horns, even had one in one of his cars, the Double Diamonds at Plant City and editing videos to make things closer than they actually are.
That's a busy diamond
Not closenough! Well done! Years ago I had a Lionel O-guage train in a figure 8 track. The steam locomotive barely missed hitting the caboose crossing in front of it.
Couldn't even fool Helen Keller. At least she wouldn't be able to hear the cheese voice overs.
Oh the closeness! Oh the humanity...
Great editing, Mr. Smith! I hope that the diamonds are still there, and that CSX still schedules locals through there
I'm here for the clickety clack sounds
This Is So Dangerous
3:18 I never can tell what the engineer does
ikr. Is he flipping ir waving
All those trains horns would drive me crazy if I lived in that area
I live next to the tracks
What happens in the last one? PLZ LET ME KNOW. Thx
2:55 I was so confused judging off the horns
6:17 That mans face had me on the floor
I believe that is our uploader Alan
This is very well made 👍
you had me fooled lmao
The people who loved this much that cried accidentally disliked
The Amtrak’s horn is hilarious sounding
Great editing. You had me fooled. I didn't notice the editing at first but then I realized that all of the trains were staying in the throttle when they supposedly saw a train crossing in front of them. If they had really been that close, we would have heard each of the second trains going into emergency as it approached the first train already in the interlock. Also, if this were really happening and the FRA saw this video, there would be some heads rolling somewhere. The guy yelling "Run, Run" was hilarious.
6:28 that guy lol
Dam those were close
What a hoot!! We definitely need to not take ourselves so seriously these days. I needed a good laugh while working from home, thanks! 🤣
Awesome Clip! Awesome Crossing! Awesome Catch!
Clickbait crap.
There are no “close calls” at railroad interlockings. This is all faked with bad editing.
Just look at the shadows on the buildings..yep. Clickbait
R M yes but look at the description, I know it is clickbait still...
Actually, it could be real, however, look at the trains. Mostly Amtrak and locals. The few big trains were really creeping. The Amtrak trains and locals can go faster and look more dangerous because they are shorter, lighter, and easier to stop.
r/whoosh
Before 6:37 sound is nominal, at 6:38 sound is a very bad edit, and sound is back to nominal at 6:39.
Fun for those in the know,.. not so much for those who have no idea how interlocking works.
From Canada:
These diamonds are relics of the past that need to be seriously upgraded! Looking at your video it seems to me that the single track that apparently carries all the Amtrak traffic is the one most effectively to be modified.
However whether it were to be routed above of below the other rails, it seems to me that either solution would have its issues ongoing due to the local environment.
I used to have an American friend who retired in Leesburg, so I got many bits of info even though the only time I have been in Florida was to touch down in Miami ad take off again for Punta Cana, D.R. (Chester was about 10 years older than I so eventually he passed away and his wife went to live in Pennsylvania with some of their reatives.)
Hence I am aware of the violent thunderstorm period you have from about late August to about November. Also, most if the state of Florida is more or less a big sandbar, low altitude and swampy.
Hence flooding and Hurricane winds are both hazards of the land.
1) So if the Amtrak route were to be put above the rest on a viaduct, I think there woukldbe a constant risk of trains getting blown off the tracks in bad weather, and the viaduct wuld have to be constructed to survive ground flooding, making the cost of that notably higher than a normal viaduct of similar size. I would imaging they would have to build it almost like a brdge, supported on huge pilings going very deep into the ground, and a n emergency pun\mping station and culvert system would be needed to get rid of flood waters around both sets of tracks - IN A HURRY! in case of a storm.
Something of that size and cost woulkd do well to also be designed as part of the drainage system for Plant city as well to make the best use of the lot.
2) I think it would be better to run the Amtrak route underground as that would protect the tracks and passing trains from wind damage in the area. the drainage issue would still be there, but the idea would be to have a cistern aside from the tracks at a level significantly lower than the lowest level of the proposed Amtrrak tunnel, and not located between the town and the tunnel, but aside so if it overflowed inan extreme storm, it would not oiverflow into either the tracks are or the city.
Looking at the demographic stats, This might fit, but it will cost, albeit I think a good solution for a lopng time.
You see at 2.35 a change in the background (cars disappear and show up) so the tricks are well done! Greetings from the Netherlands by Arie Bert Versteeg ;-) Train dispatcher
That has to be one scary train crossing Allen but it's very interesting to watch and see how close they are
David Meek, It's all edited to make it look like a close call. IT'S PHONY !
Those interlock tracks are oddly satisfying
10:47 This Is What Happens Where You Are On The Same Line
I like train videos on UA-cam 👍
6:27 oh my that guy was very scared!
That was a set up
Now that is precision railroading!
OMG InterLocking+ Trains
Imagine looking out the window of your passenger seat and seeing a freight train down the track over a diamond
Great watch well done with the edit, you had me good at the start..
This is hilarious. 😅
Never knew train's horns could get so annoying!
Or that they jerk with the sound of their traveling!
Or that they could do right angle turns! 😋
Why do all the shadows on the ground move just before the next train comes?...........
Nice try... but your editing goes blurry when you put the next clip in... plus the second supposed close call the gates hadn't gone down on the crossing in the background after the tanker had passed and when the passenger train appeared they're already fully down!!!
Captivating and thrilling sequences, really. i wouldn't live in that house for all the treasures of Solomon !
that building isn't a 'house' , but rather a railroad depo of some sort
10:47 I have a feeling that this was edited
100% was. The rail company’s time up the diamond perfectly for trains to go through all at one :D

Great rail therapy...Big like from Romania!!!
Super Video Millennium force. 🇮🇳
wow the power of editing so cool
Production tips: Shooting in daylight one can detect cloud movement; shadow movement; traffic in background. It is obvious the camera tilts slightly between shots, just from pressing the record button. Use a remote start/stop when doing match frame photography. Tighten up the edits. Don’t get me started on bad acting. On second thought, I get it that was planed cheesy acting, but too much cheese. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more.
How Are These InterLocking Trains Godamn
Damn WTF! Who runs signals on that line?? Scary stuff
It's edited
O vídeo é editado..não se trabalha com um grau de risco tão alto
That diamond sure makes a lot of racket!
What a close shave
There is NO way this is happening without a major collision!!!
Wrong since the driver of both trains can clearly see the other then it's highly unlikely
Does anyone know what town this is videoed in?
That thumbnail scared me lol
You did a pawsome job on editing these video together to replicate to it going to collide by Amtrak and CSX Train at the interlocking in plant city Fl.
How many of these are take as in filmed at a different time
Hey question what editing software do you use to edit all of your video just wondering?

Oh ok thanks!
10:50 i saw that editing glitch in the middle of the CSX engine but you got me the first time I watched this
Love your videos keep up the good work.
Nice editing
Excellent video
What is the intro music? I recognize it
Is amtrak talking to there own dispatcher. doesn't the amtrak train come up on the csx dispatcher screen?
Relax, this is a just-for-fun video, the video was edited to make it look like near misses.
Nearly choked on my cereal at 6:29 - hilarious! Probably the best film I've seen during lockdown :)

I love your theme song at the beginning of this video
what song name pls at the beginning
1:27 sounds like never gonna give you up
Huh
I swear to god i thought the CSX actually blew the horn like that but then i realized one of the cameras audio is delayed
All I can say is this. Sun, birds, cars, clouds and shadows. Every clip is 100% doctored.
This so cool thank you posting this video I really like it
Must be Hell trying to get any sleep with those noisy bloody trains flying past the bedroom window all the time!
(lol...I know it's the signalman's hut...hah!)
Accidents happen now and again~
Millienium force this has got to be amazing 😉 video ever shown
this is a highly edited video,,,,,don't be confused and thing that railroad safety is lacking. If you wonder,,,,find a interlocker somewhere and sit back and watch,,,,,( be sure to bring lunch,,,,maybe supper and bunches of snacks for the wait between trains at interlockers )
The crossing at 2:35 was edited. Watch the shadow of the building this is being filmed from. Notice after the Amtrak that the shadow moves a few inches before the freight engine crosses. I'm guessing it was realistically 5-10 mins between trains.
Why whenever a train crosses a crossing track it makes a clacking sound
I just had my first year in a while but it was a good day
Clickity clack goes the track! Great video Alan! Keep them trains a coming!
What is name of this Music Please??!!

Maybe they should add a bridge over the other tracks
How are those close?
That’s bloody crazy
