बहुत करके यह ग़ज़ल क़तील शिफ़ाई जी की लिखी है। एक मित्र ने ऐसा बताया था। सितारों तुम तो सो जाओ के बहर पे लिखी और मतले बदले गए।

Iss haseen ghazal ko, kitne thehraav aur sakun bhari aawaaz mein gaaya hai Jagjitji ne, dil ki ghehrayion ko chuu liya....
Kyaa khoob shaayari hai, mithaas se bhari...Bahut bechain hai dil, tum jahaan bhi ho chale aao..Sitaron se saji mehfil, na uth jaaye chale aao...Pehli baar iss itne piyaare andaaz se gaate hue suna hai, Jagjitji ko...

Ustad Gulam Mustafa khan sab's version of this gazal is superior in composition according to me.
Obviously Jagjit Singh is a legend and I'm a fan .....but Gulam Mustafa khan sab's composition for this particular gazal is better...
Can’t compare. Obviously it’s subjective and you are entitled to your opinion. But JS has always emphasised more on poetry. Simplicity and soulfulness can be deceptive. I loved Ustd Ghulam Mustafa(and Hariharan’s rendition of the same) version too. But can’t accept this version to be inferior
जगजीत सिंह से अच्छा बिल्कुल नहीं है भाई... जगजीत सिंह उस एहसास तक ले जाते हैं... जगजीत सिंह एक-एक शब्दों का एहसास कराते हैं... अगर कोई व्यक्ति ऐसे अनुभव को जी रहा है तो उसे जगजीत वाला version ही पसंद आएगा...
