To me, Culver's isn't fast food. It's made to order like a restaurant. You always have to wait until they cook your order,. They are very efficient, and the food is usually quality.

I was working for a non profit rebuilding homes in Houston after hurricane Harvey in 2018 and jj watt came to the house we were working on because he’s a contributor. He’s so tall that when he ducked under the door coming in he immediately bashed his head into the full-speed ceiling fan directly above the front door. Strange memory but he was a nice guy and bought us bbq.

I was living in Wisconsin last year...I spent $200.00 between March & November...at Culver's.... Mushroom & Swiss , fries , Dr Pepper & a Mint frozen custard is my go to...
I went to a Culver’s drive thru once, and granted it was around 2pm so not that busy, but I ordered the deluxe meal and by the time I ordered only waited about 3 min total. Quality was great and so was the service. Whereas if I go to my local Wendy’s you’re looking at a 10 minute endeavor every single time for very inconsistent quality and awful service.
If it is at a busy lunch ir dinner hour, they are continually grilling the burgers, so you might get it faster. If you go on an off hour, it might take 8-15 minutes because they make it fresh. It's worth the wait.
Yeah, thats the first and only sandwich i ever got from the time the Culver's opened a shop on my side of town. I just finally tried a burger a few weeks ago when they had a buy 1 get 1 free deluxe cheeseburger and that was a great deal i couldnt pass. The burger surprised me as to how much better it was than i expected it to be. Lol Top Level.
I worked at Culvers for a bit here’s some must tries 1. Buffalo tenders dipped in tartar sauce 2. Culvers deluxe add ketchup and mustard no extra charge 3. Culvers burger with a little hot sauce and ranch on it 4. Culvers salads ask for spicy chicken filet and use iceberg lettuce for the base. 5. Culvers cheese curds, put some hot sauce into the ranch and then dip. 6. Culvers fries ask for well done. Nice and crispy never soggy or burnt 7. If available pork tenderloin with everything on it
I can doubly recommend the pork tenderloin. Way better than it has any right to be. I also recommend getting cheese sauce to dip your curds in if you want to be a little extra. And honestly use their website and order online, the customizability really helps and a lot can be added for little to no charge.

Its like ya can tell where the staff give a damn or not. As one time its made well and another its a big mess and just doesn't taste right.
For clarity, Deluxe generally describes only the toppings, not the number of patties. It looks like this meal comes standard as a Double Deluxe butter burger, but you can also have this fine sandwich as a single, or if you’re a maniac, a triple.
Almost everything at Culver's slaps. I rotate getting the deluxe or mushroom swiss burgers, original and buffalo tenders, fries and onion rings with ranch, the cod filet sandwich, and their loaded chili. Malt/shake/pint of custard once in a while.
They sell a pint of custard as a menu item? Truly America is the land of dreams but damn no wonder they've got an obesity problem. I'd love a pint of custard tho
@@Donna-zc9ii Varies by location. The food is only as good as the staff at that store on that day. I've had some cold, pathetic burgers/curds from Culver's before. I've had some melted, watery shakes too. You will be able to tell what you're going to get by quickly assessing the enthusiasm of the staff before you place an order. Be prepared to walk out and go somewhere else if the vibes are bad.
Wish they still had Goulden's spicy brown mustard in packets. It was the perfect complement to the burgers. If you're taking your Culver's home, try ANY spicy brown mustard on the burger... turns it up a notch or two.

It's a van Gogh. Cafe Terrace at Night. That's actually quite famously the sort of atmosphere Gogh was going for-- something warm and comforting and cool and empty at the same time. He actually was living in the location in a room he rented, at this cafe where this was painted I think if I remember right!

Wisconsin loves Wisconsin-related NFL player celebrity fast food. The Gilbert (Brown) Burger meal was a triple everything Whopper, A&W had the Jordy (Nelson) burger and the Eddie (Lacy) burger very cheap after the Packers win.

Culvers has always been a consistently good, mid-priced place to get flavorful, greasy food. Their cheese is top tier out of any place for sure though, the sharper cheese they use makes for a much more rich experience. 8:02 had me feeling all types of ways.
Actually the term “butter burger” is not due to the fact that they butter and toast their bun, that’s common practice in restaurants for all burger buns, that term comes from the fact that there are actually butter chips INSIDE the meat so that when it’s cooked the butter flavor is infused and seasons the beef making it more juicy, instead of butter being used to fry or baste the patty.

The connection between Culvers and JJ Watt is that Culvers is a Wisconsin based franchise and JJ Watt is from Wisconsin and played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. So it's not quite as random an association as other celebrity meals plus there's a charity involved.
Absolutely love Culver's. Their cheese curds are top notch. I also love that they offer Diet Root Beer, it's hard to find pop at restaurants that is both diet AND caffeine free.
Culver’s should bring back the cheese curd burger if they don’t still have it. A giant cheese curd patty on top of the burger. Was a great item and I’m sure JJ Watt would approve.
Pro tip - eat a few of the fried curds immediately after getting them. They're so much better when they are hot enough to risk burning your mouth. Not bad later, but the experience is totally different.

I had a Culver's Deluxe Burger yesterday and it was a great fast-food burger. I've never had a bad experience at Culvers.
I had a couple, one time they dumped way to much salt on it and let management know.

Culvers has always been a consistently good, mid-priced place to get flavorful, greasy food. Their cheese is top tier out of any place for sure though, the sharper cheese they use makes for a much more rich experience. 8:02 had me feeling all types of ways.

Actually the term “butter burger” is not due to the fact that they butter and toast their bun, that’s common practice in restaurants for all burger buns, that term comes from the fact that there are actually butter chips INSIDE the meat so that when it’s cooked the butter flavor is infused and seasons the beef making it more juicy, instead of butter being used to fry or baste the patty.

The connection between Culvers and JJ Watt is that Culvers is a Wisconsin based franchise and JJ Watt is from Wisconsin and played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. So it's not quite as random an association as other celebrity meals plus there's a charity involved.

Absolutely love Culver's. Their cheese curds are top notch. I also love that they offer Diet Root Beer, it's hard to find pop at restaurants that is both diet AND caffeine free.

Pro tip - eat a few of the fried curds immediately after getting them. They're so much better when they are hot enough to risk burning your mouth. Not bad later, but the experience is totally different.
Unfortunately there ain't no such darn thing as a Culver's where I live. Never been to one, ever.
