Just watched another video with Henrik Mortensen demonstrating and explaining the Scandinavian Spey Casting technique. Extremely clear, well explained, and very useful. Terrific.
In fact, if Henrik was deep wading he would need to adjust his casting technique no matter what style he was using Scandinavian or traditional. In both cases his lower hand could be in the water without making the required adjustment.

when seeing the cast like this makes much more sense
As always making it look so easy, well done Henrik post more.
My favorite Scandi caster.
The best video i have seen brilliant.
Great casting technique!
Una maravilla aprender de los mejores maestros, muchas gracias!!!!!
he's just the best!
This is the Scandinavian style, efficient and simple (in theory!). Dipping the rod tip whilst laying down the line was my greatest bad habit,.
For all the crappy casting you tube videos, this is like GOLD. Turn up the volume............absorb.........absorb.
Casting with a two handed rod was obsolete 50 years before we were born. How many took an ox cart to work today?
Elegant
@therealCanablisS The only reason for I can hear he's speaking Danish English is because he is Danish, like me! :D
Hi, switch rod? ?' and #?
@therealCanablisS I think the clue is in the guy's name genius!
