Well shit. If I had stayed in the room, I would have realized that the boss's lasers breaks the left wall and I would have gotten the second ending with no problem. Instead, every single time, I warped out of there immediately. There were two murals about the manticore elsewhere in the game, so I assume you either had to lead it to those murals, or the murals would hint at where I have to bring the manticore. The fact that in the end, there was no puzzle whatsoever, I was just very suddenly done, is disappointing. ...Of course, I'm aware I'm technically not done. I know about the bunnies, I saw the statues in the world outside of the well. But I'm not sure I want to do that.
I was so confused seeing the original manticore and the 3D spinning torus not activated, then I remembered there’s no reason you can’t bring the first one over and you can (probably) just warp back instead of using the torus edit: just realised both of them are there in my save too, i guess the first one had his spawn set outside the well lmao
Left of the scaffolding above the fireworks that release the manticore is a room that measures your deaths in the run with a pile of skulls. You have to die enough times to be able to reach the chest containing the B.B. Wand.
When you've collected all 64 eggs you're given an extra 65th egg, go back to where you first met this monster and find his Incubator. Place the egg into it and the monster spawns again.
The song from the eggs unlocks a hidden door at the egg collection room, in there lies a single small room with a chest containing an item for the house
@@marte010exe Thanks! I tried that before, but it didn't work. I looked it up and now understand why it didn't work. I had that thought about [spoiler], but I dismissed it as being too silly without trying it, lol

Its called the B.B. Wand, and you can only get it after the final boss in the final area
