The mechanical siren tone is fun but not as loud as the simple square-wave tone. Lower frequencies penetrate vehicles better and are less attenuated over distance.
don't know if you already received some kind of an answer... but in order for a cencom to change your patters you would need a sapphire which is WeCan capable and you would need a wecan bar or a wecan module to connect to your bar.... if this is not what you mean ask away im a upfitter im sure I can help you out....

Quick question mate, my amp doesn't have the TA option, but is their a way to install a TA bar to the cencom and still use DIR and FLSH buttons?
