Sometimes there isn't water in the lungs. 7-10% of drownings are dry drownings where the victim holds thier breath until cardiac arrest. They also almost always have a stomach full of water. Our natural instinct is to try and drink the water we are submerged in, I'm a fire fighter paramedic and we actually just took a class about this, I'm not saying these Two cases aren't fishy they definitely are I'm just saying there isn't always water in the lungs.

(this one applies specifically to the Las Vegas shooting from a few years ago) the amount of firearms and ammunition found at the scene was physically impossible for one person to have moved into a hotel room in one day by themselves, also there’s no video footage from any of the hotel cameras of the shooter bringing them into the building, also the window that he supposedly removed was bolted in and weighed 800 pounds most body builders couldnt casually lift and move a window pane like that.

Back in the olden days, if a person was found dead underwater the only physical finding required to be considered foul play was no water in the lungs. Cops would actually investigate and look for evidence to find a suspect to arrest. What I really would like to know, if not water in the lungs, and the ME decides the cause of death was drowning WHY CAN'T THEY PINPOINT THE REASON THERE IS NO WATER IN THE LUNGS? Technically you can drown and not have water in your lungs, it's called a dry drowning but these cases are very rare. In a dry drowning, it's most often due to a couple of things such as neurological trauma or inebriated or something like that. They perform and test for more in depth samples of tissues, marrow, more things in toxicology report too. My belief is that these 2 didn't drown at all & their deaths are results of nefarious activities!!

Back in the olden days, if a person was found dead underwater the only physical finding required to be considered foul play was no water in the lungs. Cops would actually investigate and look for evidence to find a suspect to arrest.
What I really would like to know, if not water in the lungs, and the ME decides the cause of death was drowning WHY CAN'T THEY PINPOINT THE REASON THERE IS NO WATER IN THE LUNGS? Instead we get 'maybe they held their breath and died of a heart attack" ????Then wouldn't the cause of death be a HEART ATTACK??? NOT DROWNING???
I wonder if there are any people who were wrongly put in prison because police found a ton of evidence against them when their victim was found submerged and the coroner saw no water in the lungs and determined the victim wasn't breathing when they went into the water🤔
Technically you can drown and not have water in your lungs, it's called a dry drowning but these cases are very rare. In a dry drowning, it's most often due to a couple of things such as neurological trauma or inebriated or something like that. They perform and test for more in depth samples of tissues, marrow, more things in toxicology report too. My belief is that these 2 didn't drown at all & their deaths are results of nefarious activities!!
