Hey guys. I recently got a new mic, so from here on out the audio quality on my videos should be much better and a little louder too. Appreciate everyone putting up with the old quality.
1:30 It says "a further 20%" that means not the 20% that are reduced. Of incoming damage, you take 20% less Then, you take an additional 20% less damage upon getting hit and lose those 20% HP over time So when you get hit: you take 60% of the total damage, and then take 20% of the total damage over time (those 20% over time can't kill you), and finally the last 20% damage are ignored because of damage resistance.
@@WetMagic important info: currently this passive is bugged and each tick (there's 3) of damage over time deals 20% of the total damage instead of the total damage over time being 20% of the damage. So lets hope they patch it soon.
What i find really refreshing about WP is that all of his level 30 talents are actually viable picks. I've been running the heal one, and combined with a 25% increased healing taken SOTT it's bonkers, the clutch res + bubble can clutch some situations out very nicely. The double bubble one also seems really good because you can dish out a ton of stagger and you help your frontliners a ton with it. The trampling one is also interesting, especially on melee heavy teams (gk + slayer + WP) because it allows you to walk through warpfire and ratling guns so you can bonk them on the head.
One thing I’ve noticed is that running curse resistance with WP is still useful. If you have curse resistance on your gear and your party picks up a grim, you will actually gain maximum health. I don’t know if that is intended or if it will get fixed, but for now there is still a reason to run curse resistance if you want to be even tankier.
Yeah that happens with handmaiden with extra health and talent with 100%+ curse resistance it gives health instead of taking away some before though it would show a white box and crash if you got hit for damage that goes past white box
@@furner837 Why not just use stam and curse then? To me crit my itself isn't much to me(even with the base 5% one) and movement speed isn't going to help much for his playstyle
I feel like the Vermintide players haven't quite realized how good an instant res actually is, and it's even long distance. Once someone is downed, you instantly lose 25% of your team's firepower and everybody will likely have to pull a risky maneuver to get them back up. Instant res any day for me.
To be honest I had a difficult time deciding what ult to include in the build. They’re all solid in their own way and will be apart of future videos for sure.
I think the instant res is kinda redundant, because the ult already prevents the ally from taking damage. Pick the trample ult, which extends that time to 8s, which is quite some time you then have in order to get to the guy. Apart from that the extra utility of being able to trample through enemies gun-and warpfire is just way too good for me to not take it.
@@sarumane5380 yeah I usually run 30% revive speed and always am quite tightly close to my squishies, I think the extra 3 seconds and trample is really good for squishies In your team for more invulnerability & sustain (I use shields so very seldom do I take damage) I think alternating between trample and united in prayer is gonna be very solid.

A lot of people didn't figure it out until later but implacable gives 40% damage reduction while half of that reduction that is inflicted overtime kind of makes room for you to make temporary health for it to burn away instead

I think you read implacable wrong. He does get 20% damage reduction. But it says a FURTHER 20% is taking over time. so I think he does get 20% damage reduction it's just another 20% is taken over time
The Comets´s Gift is way more powerful. Not only you can revive a target you also can heal yourself and others of all dmg they took in the last 3 sek. "From Fury Fortitude" sounds nice but it does almost nothing. Even if you get your Fury up, and most of the time you wont or at the end of a battle (even on cata), It heals so little. 5-10 health. Its better than nothing but a good timed shield can heal 50+ hp in an instant. I dont use "Unstopple Force" because you dont need it really. I think the dmg boost is a bit better.
@@WetMagic Thanks alot for your reply, at least i know that i didn't messed something up in the build and that the effects apply as well. Thanks for your work👍
Could someone gimme a quick explanation of why smiter would be better than mainstay? PK said that mainstay would be better most of the time and magic says smiter. I just kinda wanna know which one has better overall benefits.
How does the targeting work with the ult, I aim at the person I want to put it on and it'll put it on someone behind me that I'm not looking at, has it got limited range and if the target is out of range it puts it on whoever is closest?
You and JTC have the implacable trait confused. The trait essentially gives you 40% damage reduction with half of it being dealt to you over time based on the last hit taken

Healing everybody is so much fun. Much better support than SotT as it stands now. Wish they would change up the level 5 talents for everyone though - thp is too essential to be given up (unless youre talking about SotT, in which case everyone should run that lol)
Can someone explain how Smiter does more damage than Mainstay? I don't get it, it says Mainstay does more damage in the #'s, and I don't quite get why you would need "the first enemy hit always counts as staggered", because doesn't the shield and flail already stagger on all its attacks anyway? Especially because you'll be pushing a lot?
Smiter is for Single target dmg, bc the enemy counts as staggered on the first hit. You will get the bonus on the first hit. With mainstay you have to stagger the enemy first to get the bonus.
Is there a cap to the amount of damage resistance you can have? I just realised this recently, but couldn't you get nearly 100% percent dmg resistance on him? Correct me if my math doesn't check out but you have your base 20% + barkskin so 60% + foot knight (or GK for other buffs and no aura) for 75%, and I believe you can also get 12% from RV's ales, so that'd be 87%. Further more, you still have that other 20% (or rather 13%) of dmg that you'll receive over time, which you can work around. So, assuming there's no cap, you could get 82% - 87% of dmg reduction. Simply put.
So WP Passive is pretty much the " Stagger " Mechianic from WoW for Brewmaster ( Tank spec ) Monks, Pretty much does the same thing as in, takes 50% of the full dmg and the other 50% as a " Cleansable " DoT that won't also kill you, but I don't think the WP has any way to " cleanse " the " DoT "
Dont sleep on the tome. Special attack lets you pocket a book charge which is godly for kiting and doing a normal attack 1 followed by charge 2. Devastating AOE.
WP with these heals along with Grail Knight can maybe open way for more people to higher difficulties . I am having problems going from vet to above, difference in everything is so huge ; damage and the way to play . and 95% of my attempts ,since they are all public, are failure disasters ,since randoms seems to also have no clue .
"There's never any reason to run curse resistance on this guy" Actually....Apparently there's a (possibly) glitch where he gains max hp when you pick up grims if you're also running curse resistance. Sadly no way to get curse res in Chaos Waste's or he'd gain health when outside nurgle's smog. Not really relevant because in legend he doesnt need more hp and in cata you dont pick up books anyways. I suppose if you were trying to do a true solo w/o bots you could get the grims in cata for 66% more hp? And yes, flail and shield cleaves through quite a few SV and SV with shields. It's a pretty insane weapon. Then you pair with the 2H Hammer which is amazing at kiling chaos warriors or other single target armored units. He does have a bit of a weakness here against berserkers as neither weapon kills them very quickly and you're very vulnerable swinging the 2H Hammer. It only takes 3s to kill a full HP cata Chaos Warrior with the 2H hammer with no talents or pots or anything. It's pretty crazy. I would say the crit chance talent is better for the flail and shield. The crits help him do a lot more damage when there's a lot of elites around, even if its inconsistent. The middle talent is the best, but it doesn't really stack with the flail and shield as far as I know. Although maybe there's some alternate 2H hammer combo where you let the damage stacks go up before doing the heavy instead of just light-light-heavy-light-light-heavy? Lots of people will run the revives on level 30 talent...thats the worst one. Much like Merc Kruber, his ult already allows you to perform a revive. It's excessive. I prefer the talent on the left which lets you walk through enemies, turns it to 8s, and tramples small enemies (including assassins). 8s vs 5s makes a HUGE difference when fighting chaos warriors. I can take down around 4 of them every time I ult as opposed to just 2 maybe 3.
the strength of the revive talent is not the revive its the heal... Its very good on high difficulties because every time one of your party members or you get a big hit from a monster or something you just immediately negate it...
@@dylogysminter Yea I am noticing thatnow. I think all 3 are pretty good actually. Not sure there's a 'best' one just which one is 'best' for certain situations.

I use this build so I can single out armor in hordes and quickly take them out without having to worry about the trash. Slap the ult on the Slayer who leaps into things he shouldn't -to guarantee his safety, or pop it to charge a flame/gun rat that is pinning the team.
How much power vs chaos is needed for the breakpoint? 10%?
@@e.bencur1340 With the 10% chaos, 10% armor, 30% passive, and 25% stagger power from the talent you should be able to stagger CW with the 3rd heavy attack. Otherwise the flail and shield with opportunist easily hits the break point.
so i just accidently self rezed. if you happen to use your ult right as your going down you still count as going down but you rez yourself and get the bonuses that self rez comes with.
What happens when you get a Brospyre support build and Kru-bro support build?
As a Sienna main what are your thoughts of what Her 4th career will be?
hey could we have a new bot tier list?
Ideally I'd like to redo all those kinds of lists when sienna get's her 4th class as well. But yes it'll happen eventually.
Hey, love the videos, would you consider making a ranalds gift link for your builds? it would help immensely for people trying to recreate it quickly after watching.
Ranald literally hasn't updated for warrior priest lmao.
I couldn’t even if I wanted to for this one, but perhaps I’ll do that going forward. It’s not a bad idea.
@@WetMagic Ranalds gift have been updated. You can now do your build there.
Will you make a movie about WP as a bot? Because I care about a weapon with which his artificial intelligence is best?
I really like his Hammer and Tome, but this weapon feel weard. You can save Charge for later attack...BUT first heavy is just weak and second powerfull. I try use combo with talent Rising Judgemnt and ye it is good comb but still this weapon feel not fit at all. Thx for build guide. I still go for my little changes in guides but still cool. and now i know what weapon fit best.
Charged H1 for tome is purely for gap closing and stagger, not proper damage. You use it to stop a special from starting up.
@Uvaaren Could be possible
Sorry but I have to ask; based on your time with him so far, what tier would you put him in?
I tried the build but i'm wondering why my endurance-shields won't turn green like yours. Anyone got the same?
You need the mod called "parry indicator" It's approved for use on the official realm.
In your opinion, how good of a bot is he?
If you have tested it anyway
Please and thanks☺
I have yet to try him as a bot yet. I would imagine that he would be pretty good with dual hammers though.
@@WetMagic Yea he has a lot of passive strength which seems to do well with bots. Thanks for the tip. Cant wait for His PlayStation release ❤ looks awesome
say it with me... IM....PLACE....ABLE
Finally a cleric.
Battle wizard overcharge teleport REAL LIVING BOMB BUILD. HE just bubbles you while you overcharge
Edit: Literaly call it, The Ravaged body blessed build.
what does the book and hammer do?
I though it was 20 damage not taken 60 taken and 20 dots? not 80 taker and 20 dots
It is as you say. I just misunderstood it at the time.
I'm sure he's correct I'd just like to understand how it works.
Smiter is for Single target dmg, bc the enemy counts as staggered on the first hit. You will get the bonus on the first hit. With mainstay you have to stagger the enemy first to get the bonus.
@@whenitrainsitpours8492 Ooooh. So even if the weapon staggers, you won't get the bonus on Mainstay until after? That makes sense. Thank you!
@@teddyspaghetti2858 yes. Smiter counts only for the first target you hit. Mainstay counts for every enemy that already is staggered.
Very Poggy Woggy
Simply put.
Of course it isn't true 80% dmg resistance cuz of barkskin mainly, but still.
Is his base hp 150?
yes
So WP Passive is pretty much the " Stagger " Mechianic from WoW for Brewmaster ( Tank spec ) Monks, Pretty much does the same thing as in, takes 50% of the full dmg and the other 50% as a " Cleansable " DoT that won't also kill you, but I don't think the WP has any way to " cleanse " the " DoT "
popping his ult removes the DoT, theres a challenge centered around preventing Implacables DoT
If you do run Curse Resistance it actually gives him max HP. :-)
I may buy this dlc. Can anyone confirm what level the Warrior Priest starts from?
what ever your salzpyre is.
I am sure it will be nerfed, but maybe not, but if you run curse prot, you GAIN health from picking up Grims. I had 243 HP yesterday with 2 Grims.
discord link invalid
Dont sleep on the tome. Special attack lets you pocket a book charge which is godly for kiting and doing a normal attack 1 followed by charge 2. Devastating AOE.
Oh sure he's amazing now but when is the nerf?
Will he still be good then?
Sigmar I hope so#sigmarmale.
Wouldnt it get boring just spamming the same attack over and over again?
2:41
You take the reduced push cost and as I'm watching the gameplay you never push haha. Take sigmars executioner.
"There's never any reason to run curse resistance on this guy"
Actually....Apparently there's a (possibly) glitch where he gains max hp when you pick up grims if you're also running curse resistance.
Come on dude +25% stagger is great, crit damage not worth it and + health outside of Necklace is just small brain move. Preventing damage taken by having more stagger and stagger cleave trumps health
