kaos is like the flying kroc with the boxing gloves from klubba's kiosk and the jet engine from kaptain k. rool's blunderbuss
one thing that has always perplexed me about these ports are the sound effects; there are more, but i think the more sparing, minimalistic use of them in the SNES versions just fit better with the aesthetic of these games.
Not only that but some of these (like the Belcha ones) are just stock cartoon sounds. Also they completely ruined Bleak's laugh.

About this music (with exception Arich and Kroctopus), it also plays in final boss stage, which it's almost like Sonic CD USA.

Kroctopus wasn’t in the SNES version. I forget what area he is in.
Kroctopus is in Razor Ridge (Barbos is the boss in that area in the SNES version) in the GBA version he is in Pacifica, the new area of that version.

It's a shame K. Rool doesn't have a unique boss theme in this version. Super Nintendo has a better ost.
Belcha was the laziest excuse for a boss in the whole game.
In the SNES version, you at least had to jump in order to get a bug in his mouth, so at least the original had some tiny challenge and satisfaction on top of being a standout from other bosses.

Creo que hay muchas cosas mal con el primer jefe. No tienes que saltar para atinarle, los efectos sonoros son exagerados y dan cringe, la musica, aunque segun oi fue hecha por el que hizo las originales, siento que el tema de jefe acá no es emocionante para nada. Y tampoco tiene una melodia de victoria.
Aparte que, como queja personal, nunca me gustó que en estos ports pusieran a Cranky a felicitarte y decirte cosas innecesarias despues de lograr algo.
Si, aunque cuando lo grabe solo le di un intento y ya xD.
Yep, son bastante pobres los efectos sonoros, y en cuanto a música prefiero el de SNES (salvo el de agua que es el único bueno en esta versión) a pesar de que crecí con esta versión no quita que no me gusten ciertas cosas, cómo el exagerar lo del minijuego de memoria para pillar los Banana Bird.
En cuanto a Cranky estoy de acuerdo contigo, a mí tampoco me gusto, creó que le quedaba mejor hacer algún chiste de viejo o simplemente no aparecer y ya.
SNES version is much better
People who say that are kind of like the people who think Krocktopus is a joke. They are kinda confusing but Arich is a joke on SNES.
